BPlan or Bachelor of Planning course is four years four-year full-time degree in planning for candidates who plan to pursue a career as a planning professional. They are given exposure to topics such as Urban and Rural Planning, Making Housing settlements, building structures and understanding basic architectural design. BPlan is offered by many institutes in India which also offer courses in Architecture such as BArch and MArch.

After your 12th, you can go for B.Arch. Eligibility for B.Arch in most of the top universities is pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English and Maths) or Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (with Mathematics), subject to qualifying marks as per NATA or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2018-19), e.g. JEE (Main) Paper II.

It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well known university that provides prime placement opportunity, outstanding industrial exposure and professional enhancement training. I would advice you to check the affiliation of the university, providing you extraordinary learning environment, well qualified faculty, best placement opportunity.

You must make sure that you are enrolling yourself in a premium university that provides you access to ample growth opportunities. Some of them are: Lovely Professional University, J. J School of architecture, Mumbai, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi, CEPT University etc. Few of these universities provides extensive learning programs and exposure to the students.

In order to get admission to top M Arch Interior Design colleges in India, the entry requirements are best:

• Candidates need to have completed their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% of marks in their final exam.
• Candidates must have appeared and scored at least 50% in their entrance exam are required for admission to this course.
• Students who have given entrance exams such as the General aptitude test in engineering (GATE) and common entrance exam for design (CEED). Some universities conduct their unique entrance exams which are mandatory for students who are aspiring to get admission. Students should have a good level of knowledge and understanding in reasoning, numerical, and design and aptitude skills in order to get admission to this course.
• Some Institutes require an aptitude test and an Interview for admission into the Master's Degree in Architecture.

Personally, I don't think they can be compared. Both have different aspects. JEE BARCH It includes engineering level maths. You'd prepare for it the same way you'd do for paper 1 maths. The aptitude section is very easy. Gk and logic questions are easy to crack. The drawing section isn't very demanding and is just a basic approach. It is 3 hours paper. ( maths and aptitude. +Drawing paper) NATA It includes general maths. The one you studied in 9th-10th std. Hardly 2-3 questions are expected. (Included in the online test among the 40 questions) It has a drawing paper which requires you to analyse views (like bird's eye view, ant's eye view etc) ,It is tougher than JEE drawing paper. Next is an online test which consists of 40 questions related to architectural awareness, analytical problems, aesthetic sensitivity and visualization. The questions asked here are tougher than JEE aptitude section. You get 3 hours. 50 mins for online test and rest for drawing test. So JEE has tough maths. And NATA has tough online test. NATA has 2 different papers to test the skill of the aspiring candidates at different levels. So below we are providing a few important tips to follow when preparing for NATA:

The very first step should be to go through the NATA syllabus thoroughly and then plan out the preparation strategy and divide the time. It is essential to prepare according to the prescribed NATA syllabus without wondering about unnecessary topics. 

For the drawing test, it is asked to practice daily and it should be kept in mind that it is not just about simple sketching but candidate has to understand the technicality behind it. Try to practice the sketching on the computer as well and make yourself comfortable with the mouse/touchpad. It is essential to give equal attention and time to the second paper (General Aptitude & Mathematics Test) as well and prepare it with sincerity. Practice mock test paper for the General Aptitude & Mathematics Test as it will help to get the idea about the structure of question paper and the type of questions it has. Learn to manage the time. It is the key to crack any examination.

Go through the paper, check the questions and divide your time equally among all, then start attempting. Leave the question you get stuck on without wasting your valuable time and move on to the next question. Check out the left questions only when you have enough time left to do so.

You will have to get minimum of 50% marks in your class 12th with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as your mandatory subjects to even apply for the NATA test. If you have completed a Diploma with maths as a compulsory subject then also you will be eligible to sit for the NATA exam.
