Faculty details

Laurence Capron, Programme Director
Professor Capron’s philosophy is to encourage participants to see M&As as a tool and not a substitute for strategy. She advocates that merger or acquisition is often the most expensive, complex and disruptive tool – and should only be used when it is justified. Before jumping to M&As, executives should assess the strategic fit of the acquisition with the company’s business portfolio and select the right mix of internal and external corporate development tools.
Philipp Meyer-Doyle, Programme Director
Professor Meyer-Doyle teaches corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and strategic management at INSEAD. He obtained a PhD at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research explores the micro-foundations of strategy and capabilities.
Adrian Buss, Associate Professor of Finance
Adrian's teaching areas include financial markets and valuation, and he also lectures on the MBA programme at INSEAD. His current research investigates the effects of financial frictions and financial market regulation on equity prices, prices of risk as well as real exchange rates.
Erin Meyer
Erin Meyer is an Affiliate Professor in the Organisational Behaviour department at INSEAD and specialises in the field of cross-cultural management, inter-cultural negotiations, and multi-cultural leadership.
