Q:   How to join Tamil Nadu Open University?

A: 

In order to get admission to TNOU offered courses, candidates must meet the eligibility conditions and complete the application process. Admission to the courses is merit-based, i.e. , applicants' performance in the last qualifying examination is evaluated. For B.Ed Spl.Ed., MPhil and PhD courses, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. TNOU releases a rank list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Selected candidates need to participate in the admission counselling.

Candidates seeking admission in any of the Diploma programmes offered at TNOU must pass a minimum of Class 12 or equivalent.
