UPRTOU does not offer MSc in Agriculture. However, you can apply for other MSc specialisations offered at UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University. UPRTOU MSc course is offered in three specialisations, namely, Compter Science, Biochemistry, and Statistics. Candidate need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The criteria is that the candidate mst have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

UPRTOU admission process begins with registration. Candidates are first required to select the course and fill out the application form. UP Rajshri Tandon Open University offers direct admission to most of the courses by considering the applicant’s aggregate in the bachelor’s degree. The university conducts an entrance exam for MBA, B.Ed and MCA. Once the selection is over, aspirants receieve confirmation for their admission.

UPRTOU Allahabad admissions usually open in January. Candidates can apply online for the preferred course. The university concludes the admission process by April. The selection for UPRTOU Allahabad is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

UPRTOU offers various UG, PG Diploma and certificate courses in distance education mode.  The courses are offered across various disciplines: Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Studies, Education, Computer and Information Sciences, Health Sciences, Agriculture Sciences and Vocational Studies. Candidates must complete Class 12 to apply for UG courses. A minimum of graduation is required to apply for PG courses.
