Placements: Placements for different batches are quite satisfactory. Though most of the students prefer to go for higher studies, the placements can still be considered to be of good numbers. The salary packages offered to students vary between 2.50 LPA to 5 LPA. This college can be considered to be a good one if we talk about the ROI. Students also have to go for an internship during the course period, and they have to submit their report on it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is equipped with various facilities such as good classrooms, library, computer lab, auditorium, etc. Medical facilities and sports facilities are also looked after. Though the canteen food is not up to the mark, other alternatives for food are available inside the premises. The hostel rooms were comfortable. There were no issues regarding the infrastructure of the college during my tenure.

Faculty: The college provides well-recognised and experienced faculty members with the courses. Faculty members with different areas of expertise contribute much to the educational aspect. The only problem is that faculty members follow traditional teaching methods. There is no doubt that 100% knowledge is shared, but a bit modern approach will definitely add value. Overall, the course curriculum is found to be useful.

Other: The college frequently organises seminars and conferences during the entire year. The annual fest gives students exposure to showcase their curricular talents, and the fest is generally organised during winters. Connectivity to the campus is very convenient from the city as it is situated in the centre of Bhubaneswar. The campus is surrounded by a green environment which adds a special value to the university.

Placements: Placements of our college were really good. It was the oldest university in Odisha offering classroom programme from intermediate to PhD level course. Top MNCs like TCS, Infosys, Mindtree, ICICI Bank, HDFC bank visit the campus and recruits the students. They offer a quality salary package range from 4.5 to 8.5 LPA. Almost 70 to 80% of the students get placed every year and start their career.

Infrastructure: The college was spread over 300 acres area. The college has air-conditioned classrooms and hostels to make a comfortable stay for the students. The whole campus Wi-Fi enabled, and the students explore new ideas by surfing with 4G speed. The college also has good medical facilities with experience doctor, a gym and yoga centre. There was also a playground for indoor and outdoor games where the students can spend their free time.

Faculty: As it is one of the oldest university in Odisha, it also hires experienced faculty members. All of them have a Masters or doctorate degree in a specific subject. Teachers are good, and daily revision of subjects makes the students strong in subjects. Every subject has 10 to 15 teachers who help the students to get different ways to solve a single problem.

Other: Events of this university were good enough, and they also delivered a few icons on the international level. Sand artist Mr Sudarshan and some dancers in Odisha also visited the college during events. Every year, the college organises techno fest which helps the students in the technical field, dancing, singing and other cultural programmes. Other cultural programmes were organised on foundation day fest for 7days, which were mind blowing.

Placements: Many companies like Aditya Birla, Karvy, Capital IQ, etc., visited our college during our time to recruit the students of the commerce department. The lowest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. They offered various roles like an analyst, auditor etc. During our time, only 30% of the students got placed.

Infrastructure: Utkal University is the oldest university of Odisha. The infrastructure of Utkal University is the best in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The campus is spread over around 400 acres. Our college has a football stadium, a university library, a cricket field, many other grounds and an auditorium. The campus has seven boys' hostels and 5 girls' hostels. The campus has 28 departments of various courses.

Faculty: Utkal University has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The teaching quality was great, and they adopted different methods to teach the students. The student to faculty ratio was 8:1, so every student can be able to learn properly. The course curriculum is useful to develop our skills.

Other: On the campus, students conduct different types of programmes like athletics meets and an annual function. The campus crowd was more than 3000 students. Our college provides various scholarships for postgraduate students.
