The admission to MBBS programme at CMC Vellore campuses will solely be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the NEET exam. There are no management category seats available at CMC Vellore campuses. CMC Vellore Entrance Exam has been permanently scrapped as an entrance exam.

Q: Can I get direct MSc admission at CMC Vellore?
No, CMC Vellore does not offer direct admission to the MSc programme. Candidate need to meet the last educational qualification. Candidates seeking admission to CMC Vellore MSc course need to pass graduation with 50% aggregate. The selection criteria is through merit-based as per the latest course requirement.

The candidate have to appear for college level entrance exam + selection process and PI .The entrance exam consist of two steps. Step one will be entrance exam (Computer Based exam) and shotlisted candidates goes for selection process. Step two consist of medical test, PI, skill test, apttitude and such test towards the healing ministry. However, for Christain candidates applying under the Minority Network category, a written test in Bible knowledge will be conducted at Vellore campus. Further, CMC Vellore accepts AP EAMCET for admission to its BSc nursing course. Candidates must seperately apply for the exam and appear for the exam.

CMS Vellore admissions are conducted for the students based on cutoff declared by the institute. The institute accepts NEET UG scores for admission to the MBBS course every year. The NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024. Also, the university accepts NEET PG scores for admission to MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses. NEET PG 2024 will be held most likely on Mar 3, 2024.
