Dr. Yamuna Prasad Shukla
Dr. Yamuna Prasad received the Ph.D. Degree in computer science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow of Thompson Rivers University, BC, Canada from 2017 to 2018, and a visiting scholar with University of Cincinnati, OH, USA, in 2018.
Dr. Shaifu Gupta
Dr. Shaifu Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Jammu. She received her Ph.D. degree from IIT Mandi in 2020 and M. Tech from GNDEC, Ludhiana in 2014.
Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur
Prof. Manoj Singh Gaur is serving as founding Director Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu since June 2017 as well as Professor, CSE. He is now in his second term. Before joining IIT Jammu, he was a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, India.
Dr. Suman Banerjee
Dr. Suman Banerjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Prior to this, he was a post-doctoral fellow in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar India.
Dr. Sumit Kumar Pandey
Dr. Sumit Kumar Pandey did his Master of Science in Mathematics from IIT Bombay and then did his Master of Technology in Computer Science from ISI Kolkata. After that, he did his PhD from ISI Kolkata and then did his postdoc from NTU Singapore under Prof.

  • For initial four-years of BTech, the tuition fees will be according to the fee structure of IIT Jammu BTech, that is, INR 8 lakh
  • For the remaining two-years of MBA, candidate will be charged according to the MBA fee structure of IIM Jammu. Hence, the tuition fee for MBA is INR 10.50 lakh
  • Therefore, the total tuition fees for six-year dual degree in Technology and Management is INR 18.50 lakh.

Q:   Which is better IIM Jammu or IIM Sambhalpur?

A: 

Both IIM Jammu and IIM Sambalpur accepts CAT score for admission to the Management courses. IIMs cutoff 2023 will be released after the CAT result. However, considering the 2022 cutoff, IIM Jammu CAT percentile was 90 and for IIM Sambhalpur, the percentile stood at 92 for the General ALL India category candidates. So, considering the previous year CAT percentile for both the IIMs, Sambhalpur is more competitive than Jammu.  

Talking bout the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the Management category, IIM Jammu ranked 41, whereas, IIM Sambalpur secured the 58th position.
