Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Jodhpur is based on performance in the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), followed by JEE Advanced. Candidates who secure a rank more than or equal to the IITJ BTech cutoff become eligible for admission.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on July 30, 2024. For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT Jodhpur BSc course admission is entirely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to appear for the JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. Therefore, candidates cannot get the direct admission to IIT Jodhpur BSc course.

IIT Jodhpur Cutoff 2024 for MSc admission has been concluded. The last-round closing ranks among the General AI category closed at a range of 311 and 889. Therefore, it is possible for the candidate to get admission at the given ranks in a few specialisations. The General AI category student having the cutoff rank between 550-600 can get admission to M.Sc. + M.Tech. in Physics and Materials Engineering, with the last-round closing rank of 889. Since the Cutoff is released category-wise, the chances of getting admission would depend on the category as well.

No, the admission procedure for both the IITJ MBA courses is the same. However, the eligibility conditions vary for the programmes. For the Tech-MBA course, an aspirant must have a bachelor's degree in any of the branches of Engineering. However, for regular MBA courses, aspirants can apply with any valid bachelor’s degree.

Admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Jodhpur will be entrance-based. JEE Advanced admit card 2024 will be released by the exam conducting authority on May 17 and the JEE Advanced exam 2024 will be held on May 26 for IIT Jodhpur BSc course.
