Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Jodhpur is based on performance in the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), followed by JEE Advanced. Based on JEE Advanced score, candidates need to take part in JoSAA counselling. Candidates can apply on the JEE official website (nta.ac.in). Candidates who secure a rank more than or equal to the IITJ BTech cutoff become eligible for admission.

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on July 30, 2024. IIT Jodhpur BTech Cutoff 2024 is determined on the basis of candidates' performace in JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced Cutoff is released category-wise for admission to IIT Jodhpur. The cutoff ranks for different courses among the General AI category closed at a range of 3061 and 16381. The most competitive course among the General AI category candidates was BTech in CSE. 

Yes, the branch can be changed at the end of the second semester. However, the student must meet the required criteria, i.e. a CGPA greater than or equal to 8.0 and 7.0 for SC/ST and PD applicants. Candidates with a proven academic record based on a cut-off of the GATE, CSIR or UGC scorecard or equivalent are eligible to apply for PhD at IIT Jodhpur. The last year 2022, cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Jodhpur - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category were - 1179 for OBC, 652 for SC, 354 for ST, 366 for EWS and 138 for PWD. IIT Jodhpur BSc course admission is entirely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to appear for the JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. Therefore, candidates cannot get the direct admission to IIT Jodhpur BSc course.

IIT Jodhpur Cutoff 2024 for MSc admission has been concluded. The last-round closing ranks among the General AI category closed at a range of 311 and 889. Therefore, it is possible for the candidate to get admission at the given ranks in a few specialisations. The General AI category student having the cutoff rank between 550-600 can get admission to M.Sc. + M.Tech. in Physics and Materials Engineering, with the last-round closing rank of 889. Since the Cutoff is released category-wise, the chances of getting admission would depend on the category as well.

No, the admission procedure for both the IITJ MBA courses is the same. However, the eligibility conditions vary for the programmes. For the Tech-MBA course, an aspirant must have a bachelor's degree in any of the branches of Engineering. However, for regular MBA courses, aspirants can apply with any valid bachelor’s degree.

Admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Jodhpur will be entrance-based. JEE Advanced admit card 2024 will be released by the exam conducting authority on May 17 and the JEE Advanced exam 2024 will be held on May 26 for IIT Jodhpur BSc course.
