Admission to the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for the MBA programme follows a structured process and cannot be obtained directly. Here are the key steps involved in the admission process:

1. Entrance Exam:

6. Eligibility Criteria:

   • Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria, which usually include holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.

FMS BHU Admission 2024 is based on the candidates performance in the CAT exam. The overall CAT cutoff for MBA at FMS BHU is 85%. However, before applying to CAT, candidates must  have UG or PG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category students) in order to get admission in FMS BHU.

Institute of Management Studies, BHU offers various PG and certificate programs such as MBA, MBA IB, MBA AB and PGDBA. The admission to the courses are entrance based. The admissions to MBA and MBA IB programs is offered on the based on the score of CAT (50% weightage), academic records (20% weightage) and GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview with 30% weightage). According to the 2021 statistics, an overall percentile of 85 is required to qualify for the admission process at Institute of Management Studies, BHU.

The Application fee for MBA at FMS BHU is INR 2000 and INR 1000/- for SC/ST to be payable through online as per guidelines provided on the Admission Portal. FMS BHU application form is available at the official website, candidates must fill the application and submit with the application fee.
