Absolutely satisfied because of the excellent placement, faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Our college is among the top choices for placements as it offers 100 percent placement. It is the second-best college in Kerala for placement. We have a separate training cell and placement cell for enabling the students to sit for placement by improving their knowledge. They will conduct tests which will make us evaluate ourselves and work for the better.
Infrastructure: Even though our college is small, it provides better infrastructure facilities. We have high internet speed, highly equipped labs, and a well-stocked library. We also have a fab lab and an idea lab for advanced projects. We have a centralized internal auditorium where workshops and seminars are conducted. Our college is a calm and clean space which provides a composed mindset for everyone to learn.
Faculty: We have a well-set faculty team which includes well-trained professors. They are always approachable and ready to clear doubts anytime. They are very much supportive. They make the campus a home place. We can interact with them like our family members. They help us for better learning and development.
Other: Our college conducts a tech fest named Excel every year which includes a series of workshops, hackathons, games, and many more. We also have arts and sports which will make the students showcase their talents.

Model Engineering college .
Placements: About 70-80 percent were placed in the previous batches. Most of the placements are for Computer Science and EC students. Last year, the highest package was around 50 LPA. The lowest may vary around 3-4 LPA. Talking about internships, the people who actually get paid internships are relatively few.
Infrastructure: The campus area is really small. Wi-Fi facility is available in the college. In our electronics department, labs are not that good. Equipment is really old. There is a large library available on the campus. Men's hostel and ladies' hostel are provided by the college. The quality of food in the canteen is really worth the price.
Faculty: Faculty and teachers are really supportive. They help in bringing placements to the college. The course, however, doesn't make students industry-ready. We need to learn skills by putting in our own efforts. Semester exams are a little bit difficult. However, pass percentages are not that low.

Go there for placements and disciplined study.
Placements: In my course, the percent of students placed is a bit low compared to CS and EC because software companies are coming. About 70 percent of the students placed in my course. The highest package can be 20 to 25 LPA and the lowest is 3 to 4 LPA. IBM, Bosch, TCS, Siemens, etc. are the top recruiters. Top roles can be designer, analyzer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and other things available for our course or department are less compared to other colleges. Libraries and Wi-Fi connections are there but only on a small scale. The food available is good and hygienic in both hostels and canteens. Facilities for sports and games are not enough for a game or a sportsman.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and helpful and they are also very supportive. Students can choose this college for proper lectures from teachers and this course is relevant. Semester exams are not very hard but competitive. This college is under KTU University.

It is my luck that I got admission in MEC.
Placements: I think about 80% of students got placed by both on-campus and off-campus selection. The highest and the lowest packages were 12 & 8 LPA. Core companies coming were less; many of them were related to the IT field. 40% got internships in many core companies. Clinical engineering and service engineer were the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs were good, but there are not enough resistors and things in the circuits lab. Students need to purchase them at the end of the semester if we broke any one of them. Hostel conditions were bad when I was at the hostel. It's not worth staying there! Stressful.
Faculty: Teaching quality and teachers were so nice. Teaching quality is good. It's better if they provide notes for each subject, which will be helpful during exam time, as KTU notes are not available for this course. Semester exams were good, but the time span of each semester is too short, which makes students struggle to study.
Other: I chose this course as I am interested in both the IT and medical fields.

Should I choose ECE in Mec?
Placements: I am currently pursuing my third year of college, and I can definitely say MEC provides better placement offers than most of the colleges in Kerala. Last year, 137 students got placed only from the ECE department. Companies like Harman Motors, Synopsys, and others were some among them. Also, MEC has the best placement cell and a strong bond with alumni, which makes it the best for placements.
Infrastructure: MEC provides a wide range of facilities for the students to excel in their academics. The Electronics lab has an LCR Meter, Signal Explorer-Digital Oscilloscope, Linear IC Tester, etc. MEC has a wide library providing almost all ranges of texts and copies of various research papers. 24/7 Wi-Fi support is also available throughout the campus. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The boys' hostel has a capacity for accommodating around 200 students and has additional facilities like a gym, etc. The ladies' hostel is available with all the facilities, study hall, etc.
Faculty: MEC has faculty members with high qualifications in different spectrums. Teachers provide almost all notes and other stuff necessary for studies and are extremely friendly. But apart from this, we will have to grind by ourselves for securing more, especially for placements and interviews, but the placement cell and training cell may provide some additional stuff. If you follow a proper schedule, then it is really easy to tackle semester exams. Teachers mainly concentrate on exam-oriented topics and previous year questions. Completing all topics discussed in the syllabus will be great.
Other: MEC is definitely a good option for those who are aiming to concentrate both on academics and extracurricular activities. Talking about ECE in MEC is the best choice I ever made. ECE lets you explore not only hardware but also the programming part. Excel, which is one of the largest techno-cultural fests in India, takes place every year, mostly in the month of February or March. It includes different cultural activities as well as workshops, hackathons, etc. Other events include arts, sports, ethnic day, college day, etc.

Boring College Life!
Placements: Top recruiting company is Kalki Tech, which is a core company for EEE. A package of 50 Lakh per annum is offered, and many students get placed with a good salary package. A 100% placement rate is achieved, with every student securing an internship from this course in various companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are very good. However, the quality of my hostel and the food available in the mess and canteen are not satisfactory. I am not aware of the medical facilities in my college. Sports and games are conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and helpful, providing good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, and university exams can be difficult, resulting in a passing percentage of less than 100.
Other: I chose this course for career building. Unfortunately, there is not an enjoyable college life or campus experience in this college.
