A total of 273 offers were made during MEC Kochi placements 2023. Further, leading recruiters such as Cognizant, Deloitte and EY visited the campus during MEC Kochi placements 2023. In addition, the number of offers made for CSE, EBE, ECE and EEE branch in 2023 were 106, 38, 97 and 32, respectively. Earlier, 416 offers were made during the 2022 placement session. CSE emerged as the top branch with the highest number of offers received. Further, the highest package offered was above INR 32 LPA. Really good placements. And infrastructure is not that much good. Faculty members are good enough.

Placements: Above 90% students were placed from the 2024 batch. From the 2025 batch now, around 30% students are placed. The highest package was 55 CTC in 2024. There are many companies coming to our college, including VISA, UST, and all. It has many opportunities for the students.

Infrastructure: Have a good Wi-Fi connection. And also, we have a good collection of books in the library. Hostel has many facilities, including Wi-Fi and food. It contains good quality food at the college hostel. We have additional college canteen facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members support us for many activities. Course curriculum is not that much relevant. Since we need to study all the 8 semesters in the college, it is very much helpful. Semester exams are a little bit tough compared to each subject, due to lack of time.

Go there for placements and disciplined study.

Placements: In my course, the percent of students placed is a bit low compared to CS and EC because software companies are coming. About 70 percent of the students placed in my course. The highest package can be 20 to 25 LPA and the lowest is 3 to 4 LPA. IBM, Bosch, TCS, Siemens, etc. are the top recruiters. Top roles can be designer, analyzer, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and other things available for our course or department are less compared to other colleges. Libraries and Wi-Fi connections are there but only on a small scale. The food available is good and hygienic in both hostels and canteens. Facilities for sports and games are not enough for a game or a sportsman.

Faculty: Teachers are really good and helpful and they are also very supportive. Students can choose this college for proper lectures from teachers and this course is relevant. Semester exams are not very hard but competitive. This college is under KTU University.

Our college is a beacon of excellence in technical education.

Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students are placed from the course Computer Science and Engineering. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Experion, Visa, etc. The highest salary package in the last year was 50 Lacs per annum. A good percentage of the students are getting internships from Oracle, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are quite good. The campus has a good Wi-Fi connection, good classrooms, and libraries. The college atmosphere is quite good and peaceful. Though I am not a hosteler, I cannot say the exact review of the hostel facilities. But from my classmates, I got a good review.

Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful in bringing out the skills of the students, realizing their innate talents. Most of the teachers conduct test papers other than the internal exams, which help the students finish the portions before the exams. Computer Science and Engineering is a course that helps the students become industry-ready by developing coding skills. Almost 95% of the students pass in all subjects in this campus.

Other: When I talk about our batch, which is the 2026 pass-out batch, all the students have passed in the semester 4 exams. We all know that coding is a must-have skill in this fast-developing world, hence I chose this course.

Good Placements and Crowd.

Placements: My course is CSBS, it’s a curriculum by TCS. TCS has assured a percentage of placements. Our college has a really good placement and also a great training cell. They keep a lot of mock interviews, aptitude tests, and group discussions. All these cells are managed by students.

Infrastructure: The college is pretty good. The food provided is clean and tasty. They also provide us with medical support whenever required. The college facilities are limited but have all the basic amenities. The classrooms are big enough to accommodate all of us, and there is a library, an indoor auditorium, etc.

Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and well-accommodating. They clear our doubts whenever. The curriculum was made by TCS, so it’s very relevant for the job field right now. The internal exams are not too tough but not too easy either. Since the course is structured by TCS, it makes us industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course as it resonated with my interests. I am interested in teaching and business, so it equally combines both. The seniors are very friendly and they do not gatekeep anything and share whatever knowledge they have by conducting workshops. The infrastructure is the only downside, but the faculty and crowd make up for it.

Boring College Life!

Placements: Top recruiting company is Kalki Tech, which is a core company for EEE. A package of 50 Lakh per annum is offered, and many students get placed with a good salary package. A 100% placement rate is achieved, with every student securing an internship from this course in various companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library, are very good. However, the quality of my hostel and the food available in the mess and canteen are not satisfactory. I am not aware of the medical facilities in my college. Sports and games are conducted.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and helpful, providing good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, and university exams can be difficult, resulting in a passing percentage of less than 100.

Other: I chose this course for career building. Unfortunately, there is not an enjoyable college life or campus experience in this college.
