Learning Experience: The course was conducted by Jeremy Aschenbrenner and the course included the basic modeling techniques used in business analysis. The skills I developed using the course are the basics of Software Development Life Cycle, Use Case analysis, RACI Matrix, etc. It impacted in a positive way in my career development and companies considered me for the profile of Business Analyst. The pros are that you can develop the skills and make your career in business analysis and the cons are that it's just a 7-8 hours course which can be completed on a mere day, so to have more understanding about the various concepts and techniques used in business analysis I did another course by the same instructor as the Fundamentals of Business Analysis which is again a short course but will give a deep understanding about the concepts. This is how the course can help you.
Faculty: The faculty was amazing. As I have mentioned above the name of the instructor, Jeremy Aschenbrenner is giving guidance about the Business Analysis from a decade now. The lectures were interactive and easy to learn, it gave the practical knowledge of how these concepts can be used in different scenarios of business analysis. There were no live sessions, these were recorded sessions which makes it more flexible for the viewer to pause and make notes out of it.
After every one concept that you understand, there was a short assessment exercise which have multiple choice questions to be answered to climb the next concept. For example: when I finished the concept of Use Case, an assessment having 10-15 questions was there and with the learnings that I got from this stage was applied in this assessment. You can check where you belong while answering the questions. Giving the assessment is compulsory but you can give as many attempts as you want.
Course Support: After doing the course, I could update key skills of business analyst in my CV which gave a good response from the companies. Companies started considering my profile as business analyst and the key skills required as a beginner were apt. In the course, the instructor also told about the positions available as business analyst and positions you can apply for after doing the course.
