- What you'll learn
- Students will learn reading and vocabulary to make them more competent in reading in English.
- They will also learn how to identify grammar structures which are usually complicated.
- They can cause problems to have a good understanding when they read in English.
- Effective reading, especially when the main goal is to obtain information, involves certain strategies. Its application is almost automatic, unconscious, when it comes to readings in the mother tongue. However, when it comes to reading a text in English, there are several factors that make its application difficult.
- The purpose of this course is for students to be aware of the characteristics of texts in general and of legal texts in particular and of some activities in which, such as reader can participate to read effectively.
