The degrees/diplomas/certificates offered by BAOU Ahmedabad are treated at par with other UGC-approved universities' degrees/diplomas/certificates. Hence, the degrees issued by BAOU are valid and accepted by companies and other institutes. Additionally, the university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is also recognised by the Distance Education Council (DEC).

BAOU admission 2024 is currently open for July session. Candidates wishing to get admission in the university can apply for the preferred course on the university website. BAOU application process generally begins around July and is concluded by October. The admission notice is published on the university official website.

BAOU Ahmedabad fee to be paid at the time of admission is tuition fee or programme fee. Candidates may have to pay examination fee before the commencement of the examinations. Tabulated below is the BAOU tuition fee for some of the courses:

The BAOU Ahmedabad application process is completely online. Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for the preferred course. Check out the process as explained in detail:

Step 1: Visit the official website of BAOU and click on the ‘Admission’ section under the ‘Students E-Corner’ tab.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Application’ link for UG| PG GCAS registration.

Step 3: Fill out the details and then apply for UG| PG Admission via link available on the website.

Step 4: Make the online payment for the application fee.

Step 5: Select the study centre and fill required details.

Step 6: Upload all the required documents and submit the form.

BAOU offers Certificate courses across 27 specialisations. These courses are taught through two departments, i.e., the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Computer Science at the university. Some of the certificate courses offered are in Naturopathy, Indian Poetics, Theatre Arts, Food and Nutrition, Anganwadi Karyakrta, Childcare and Development, etc.
