    BLIS is a one-year course.
Placements: No placement support is provided by IGNOU for this course. Most of the students who enroll in this course either apply for MLIS (Masters in Library Science) or apply for government jobs at various departments, including schools and colleges. It is recommended to pursue MLIS after completing this course.
Infrastructure: Since this is an open university, no hostel facility is available with IGNOU. However, you can find lots of PG nearby. IGNOU's main campus is quite wonderful. You can find a library with a vast number of books as well as a digital library. There is a canteen where one can enjoy after studies. Being a reputed university, they have dedicated medical facilities as well as doctors and nurses.
Faculty: The faculty that teaches us over here is quite knowledgeable. They have years of experience and are ready to solve any doubts in case a student faces any problem. IGNOU provides course and study materials for the 9 subjects in the course. The examinations are held at the end of the academic session. If you enroll in July, your examinations are held next year in June. If you apply in January, your examination will be held in December. This is a one-year course. You have to make 9 assignments for 9 subjects and submit them to the regional center.

Dissatisfied faculty, no placement but helpful teachers.
Placements: No student was placed in my course. The highest package offered was Rs18000, the lowest package was Rs9000 and the average was Rs15000. No top recruitment company was there. No student got internship. Top roles offered were librarian, assistant librarian, professional assistant, semi professional assistant etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were classrooms, library and books. But teachers were very helpful. Online classes were there and books were posted to the address of the students. Since it is an open university so no hostel, mess and medical facilities were there.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was fine. Teachers were helpful inside and outside the campus too. No it is not curriculum relevant. The exams were not that much difficulty. But study is obviously required. The passing percent was 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course cause this course is very much different from other courses The best thing about it is that any person can do this course I wish I would improve the use of software Events were there.

Yes, you can. If you meet the eligibility for both the courses. For BLIS (any graduate with 55%, for M.Com (B.Com or allied subject). But one should be in regular mode, and the other in correspondence/distance mode.
