IGNOU Fee Structure
IGNOU fee structure is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by IGNOU, however, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees. The IGNOU fees amount further is different depending upon the course or specialisation selected by the students. Please find the total tuition fee for all IGNOU courses in the following table:

Q: What is the fee for MBA at IGNOU?
The total tuition fee for MBA at IGNOU ranges between INR 6,300 and INR 68,000. This fee is sourced from the sanctioning body/official website. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. For more details, students can confirm the fee from the admission office. Apart from this, a non-refundable registration fee of INR 300 (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along with the programme fee of first semester/year at the time of admission.

The following SC and ST students are not eligible for fee exemption:
- who are employed OR
- who are availing any kind of scholarship or fee exemption from other agencies, OR
- whose Parents‘/ Guardians‘ income from all Sources exceeds Rs 2.5 lakhs during financial year as per Government of India norms.
The applicants should submit income certificate issued by Authorized Government Agency while taking admission. The exemption of fee is confined to the extent of Programme Fee mentioned in the Prospectus. The students belonging to these categories will have to pay late fee (if any), Term End Examination Fee, convocation fee, Registration fee, Development fee etc. since these are not exempted under this Scheme.
