The college has no good placements, you have to get a job on your own.

Placements: The English department has a moderate placement facility and the percentage is around 30% - 40% if you are studying in the main campus. In study centres, you will not get any placements. This is because the main campus is located in Sector 5 which is a corporate hub. So you can easily visit the nearest companies to apply. The college also helps to get some information but the placements rate is not too good. College should improve it as soon as possible.

Infrastructure: The college campus is mainly empty as most of the students are irregular. College has a Wi-Fi system which is very slow. Only the labs of Computer Science department have a good internet speed through ethernet connection. College doesn’t have any hostel facility. Food quality is average but not many options are available. Events are not organised regularly.

Faculty: In the exams, the teacher don't give good numbers even if you write too well. Only some of the teachers are helpful. The syllabus completion takes too much time and sometimes they delay our exams by 5 to 6 months. Passing rate is 60%. Course is good for degree or for distance students.

One of the best open universities.

Placements: The highest package offered at Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) in Kolkata in 2023 was INR 4 LPA. The average package offered was 3 LPA. NSOU records 70% placements in the academic year 2022-2023. Various companies visit the university and help the students get jobs as per their skills.

Infrastructure: Students used to get a good amount of study material to prepare well. Even the library has a good number of books and journals to study. Campus is so big that alumni and faculty members utilize it very well. The alumni of this campus used to organize many cultural events and sports events for the students. Even many outdoor games are also organized at this university.

Faculty: Faculty members from different regions teach the students at this university. The faculty in our course has great knowledge about each subject and they prepare the students well for the examination to score well. The class lectures were utilised well and the faculty members have also taught well. Semester exams are not difficult, and the students score easily.

Other: The university provides many government scholarships. Also every year, the university organizes many types of events.

Review of Bachelor of Arts from the NSOU.

Placements: At the NSOU, there were not very many placement opportunities given to the students. Hardly any of the students get placed at our college in this course. The average package offered at this college was between 2 and 2.5 LPAs. No placement or internship training is given at our college.

Infrastructure: As this was a open University it was having a decent infrastructure. College offers facilities to the students such as library, canteen, sports etc. Facilities to the students. There was no hostel facility available for the students. Sports and other necessary facilities were of good quality.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was helpful, supportive and knowledgeable. All the teachers at the college were qualified. The course curriculum followed at the NSOU was old but relevant. Exams at the college were not very hard to pass. The teaching quality at the college was average.

Our college is the best with very good teachers.

Placements: Around 55% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA, the lowest salary package is 1.2 LPA to 2 LPA, and the average salary package is 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Tata, Mahindra, and many companies are recruiting students of our course. Around 30% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college. Labs are available for all the courses except our course. All departments have separate classrooms that are clean. The library is available in our department with many facilities. Boys' and girls' hostels serve good quality and healthy food.

Faculty: All teachers in our college are very helpful, hardworking, and well-experienced. Their teaching quality is very high. The pass percentage in our department is 100%. Students in our department get good grades.

Other: I chose this course because I love this subject. The best thing about our course is that students' communication skills are highly increased.

Our college provides very good teachers.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our college. Tata is the top recruiting company for our course. Many companies offer placements in our college. Around 50% of students get internships in our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available in our college. All the departments have separate classrooms that are clean and clear. A library and many facilities are available in our college. A hostel is provided to students. The quality of food served is very good.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are very helpful. Their teaching is very good and helpful. Teaching quality is very high and charming. The pass percentage is 100% in our department and get very good scores.

The information says, it is almost similar. Both the courses are of 3 years. In Netaji Open University, the registration remains valid for 6 years if fees are paid and registration charges are given.
