    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

    Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Courses at Netaji Subhas Open University

    Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an analysis of the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.A. courses at Netaji Subhas Open University:

    * Limited Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, the university's placement cell doesn't seem to be very active, particularly for B.A. students. Only around 30-40% of students might receive job offers, according to some students' reviews.
    * Low Package Offers: The salary packages offered to students are relatively low, ranging from INR1.21 LPA to INR3.35 LPA, with some students receiving internships instead of full-time job offers.
    * Few Domain-Related Jobs: While some students reported receiving job offers, mostly in sales and marketing roles, few of these positions relate directly to their sociology background.
    * Need for Improvement: Alumni and students alike emphasized the importance of improving the placement cell's services and providing more domain-specific job opportunities for B.A. graduates.

    Overall, while the university has made efforts to provide some placement assistance, the limited scope and relatively low package offers suggest that the placement cell could benefit from further development and improvement.

    Review of Netaji Subhash Open University.
    Placements: This is an Open University; there is no such placement in our college. This college provides good education, but there is no on-campus placement in the university. In this college, you can get a Diploma, BS, BA, etc., but there is no such placement on the campus.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is below average. The college doesn't have any campus; they have just a small house-type building. This is all they have; they don't provide hostel facilities because they don't have any hostel. There is no library and no good classrooms in the college.
    Faculty: The faculty of the college is good; they are very helpful and well knowledgeable. They teach us very well. In the course, they help us build our profiles effectively. The semester exams at the college are not too difficult. If someone studies well, they can pass easily.

    Good faculty and facilities.
    Placements: This college doesn't provide placements, however the facilities are definitely good and our department has the best resources compared to any other college in the city. If you want to pursue life sciences, this college is a solid choice. The college has also added arts streams recently.
    Infrastructure: Good quality equipments are available with up to date knowledge faculty members. The classes are equipped with projectors for smart classes. The classrooms are spacious and well lit. The environment is very cozy and quiet. The library has adequate amount of books and operates on a weekly basis. There is a gym room but it has not been opened yet for the students. The sports facilities are not very great as there is not any big playground is available.
    Faculty: Great professors with high qualifications and good experience in the teaching line. The course system under the university could be definitely better. The professors are well qualified and use the resources properly along with providing extra knowledge while also following the curriculum.
    Other: This college is the only government college in my location, thus the choice. One of the best faculty members available in oir department, along with good facilities provided compared to other colleges. Since I don't love in hostel, I won't be able to provide information on that.
