Review of my university.

Placements: The placement rate for students in my course is quite low, and it is not considered a good value for money. On average, the package offered to students in this course is only 15k. There are no companies actively recruiting from this course. However, around 10 percent of students are able to secure internships easily. In general, many students end up pursuing careers as teachers.

Infrastructure: The department I belong to is mathematics, which is equipped with specialized classrooms. It provides its students and teachers with their own Wi-Fi network. Although the department itself does not have a dedicated library, the university offers a vast library that caters to the needs of students from all departments.

Faculty: The mathematics department is staffed with highly intelligent teachers, although our head of department can be quite rude. The teachers are extremely helpful and friendly, and they are also highly qualified. The teaching quality is considered to be average and basic. The semester exams are challenging, but the internal exams are relatively easy, allowing most students to pass with ease.

Placements: In Raiganj University, they can't provide many placement opportunities. They only offer placements in BCA and B.Sc. Computer Science fields. As far as I know, companies like TCS, Amazon, etc. , visit our college. Approximately 20-30% of students secure internships because the competition is too high.

Infrastructure: In Raiganj University, they provide us with a vast library, large computer labs, spacious classrooms, seminar rooms, Wi-Fi hostels, and almost everything that a student needs. Hostel facilities at our university are above average, with two large hostel rooms and Wi-Fi facilities. The food quality is good. Sports such as cricket, football, and NCC-type games are provided in our university.

Faculty: The teachers, staff, and all the faculty members are good and helpful. If you need any kind of help, they can assist you. The teaching quality is good, and teachers are well-trained with professional skills. This course is designed for a career in teaching, such as becoming a school teacher or college professor, making it very helpful. The semester exam is a bit challenging, but teachers suggest important questions, so it's okay to crack it. Approximately 99% of students pass.

Placements: During the final year of our college program, students are eligible for campus placements. Around 60–70% of students get placed, with the highest package being around 20–25 lacs per year and the lowest being 10–12 lacs per year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and others visit our campus for placements. Unfortunately, our college does not provide any internship opportunities. However, our course offers various roles, including software development, web development, cyber security, and more.

Infrastructure: Our college has a huge seminar room, three big computer labs, a projector in every room, and every department has Wi-Fi facilities. Hostels are good, and Wi-Fi facilities also have their. Food quality is good in a mess. Our college has organized many sports like cricket, football, and NCC-type extracurricular activities.

Faculty: All the teachers and staff members are incredibly helpful. They have the ability to fix any problem that you might encounter. The majority of the teachers have PhD degrees, and their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares the students well for the industry. The semester exams are not too difficult, and if you follow the teachers' classes, it will be easier to crack. The pass percentage is approximately 98%.

Other: I chose this course because I love the IT sector; that's why my dream is to become a web developer. The best thing about my course, BCA, is that it trains the students in the IT field.

Pros and Cons of Raiganj University.

Placements: Raiganj University doesn't provide any placements so the percentage is very low even less than 2% however in 2022 Orient gems & tournaments Pvt. Ltd. conducted a placement drive at the Department of CIS and a few students were selected. Also they don't provide any internship.

Infrastructure: They have a library where you can access a wide range of books related to your courses. Classrooms are spacious Some classrooms have projector with Wi-Fi available. They have Laboratory for practical subjects. Toilets are clean and hygienic. Additional, there is a hostel facility available for eligible students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful most of them are Ph.D. qualified and very knowledgeable the quality of study here prepares students for the industry although there is still need improvement. Semester exams are conducted every 5-6 months so you will get enough time for cover the syllabus. In my personal experience the exams are not so much difficult you will easily pass if you attended the classes regularly so the difficult depends on the students. The pass percentage in my course is 87%. .

Other: As I was interested in Programming languages and Computer application so I choose this course. The best aspect of this course is that it enhances your problem solving skills and creative thinking which can lead to easier job placements. As they don't provide any placements so you have to apply for off campus placement. The annual fest, known as RAIVARSI fest, is typically held in December or January. The number of students currently studying here 10632. The campus covers an area of 24.71 acres located in the main town near the State Bus stand, stadium and government hospital. You can join National Cadets Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme.

It is a very good University according to placement but dissatisfied of faculty.

Placements: About 70-75% students were placed in my course and probably 90% students get scholarship from government. Most of us or our seniors got placement in pharmaceutical companies. Others who are not able to get placement through college got their government. Jobs. The package offered by the companies about 5-7 Lacs per annum. Posts offered are lab assistant, tester etc.

Infrastructure: Our college hostels are very good, all time electricity and free Wi-Fi always available, most of all that 24 h uninterrupted water supply provided here at low cost. Classrooms are okay with new technologies and in lab all safety are taken when deals with chemicals. About the library it is very good course relates all books are available here.

Faculty: Teachers are all Ph.D. very much qualified, and very much helpful. Besides the course there is a separate session taken for the placement and future related course and what are opportunities from this course we all may get. There are six semester in our 3 years course at the distance of every six months. From the beginning the selection process is hard so in spite of that about 80% student pass in each semester.

Other: In the modern time a job is very important with a good amount of salary and I think this course may give that to me. According to me some faculty issue must be solved otherwise there are no problem. Every year of December or January each of every department arranged for an exhibition relate to their course and a great fest is arranged where famous celebrities were invited. As mentioned above in our department about 90% students got scholarship from Government. There is a scope for music, dance, film making, and cricket.
