Premier Institute for Engineering, Innovation and Excellence .
Placements: The CSE branch has strong placement rate in recent years, which is around 80-90%. The highest package is INR 1 crore from top recruiters like Amazon and Google.
Infrastructure: The time of hostel is 9:30 for girls and there is no canteen in our hostel. Every time we need to order from outside. Also library time is so bad, it starts from 10 am till 5 in the evening, which is also timing of classes. We do not get to use it.
Faculty: Teachers are nice. Many professors have strong academics background with research experience and advanced degree from reputed institutions. They are knowledgeable especially in core subjects like algorithms, software development and machines learning. They are often helpful with projects and internships .
Other: As all the students are hostellers, so it affected college night life there is no college night life.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology campus guide for freshers.
Placements: Due to the economic slowdown, the percentage of students placed has dropped to 42%. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA approximately. Almost every company visiting DTU, IIITD, or IITD also visits NSUT campus. More tech companies visit the campus compared to non-tech companies, and core companies visiting the campus are few.
Infrastructure: In the main campus, apart from academic blocks, there is a gym, football ground, running track, cricket ground, two basketball courts, and two volleyball courts. There is also one library and one computer center. Labs are in decent condition and are maintained well. Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over campus.
Faculty: All faculty members have done their PhDs from top IITs in India. They are knowledgeable in their respective domains. They are available in their rooms for students. If someone wants to discuss a topic taught in class or research any topic they are interested in, they are helpful in that area. However, they are very strict about the attendance rule, and it is better not to argue with them over this.

SEE before you believe in words.
Placements: Placement and internship opportunities are great here. Many companies come every year to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Sprinklr, etc. The highest package was 63 LPA, and the average package for CSE is 16-22 LPA. 70 percent of students are placed by the college, and it provides multiple opportunities according to your skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs for my course are nice and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available too. The library is air-conditioned with enough space for many students, and it has a vast collection of books. You can sit there to use your laptop or books to study calmly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful in every way. Teaching quality is good here. The course curriculum is relevant and ensures that you learn to implement things practically, making sure that you are fit for the industry. The pass percentage is pretty high, and the difficulty level is a bit above average.
Other: Computer Science faculty is great, and the college provides excellent placement and internship opportunities. Two fests are conducted in the college: the annual fest called Moksha-Inovision and another fest called Resonaz, which is conducted in October.

In short, it is a really good college.
Placements: In my course, around 40%-50% of the students are placed in the last passed-out batch. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, the average salary package offered was 15 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Bechtel and Texas Instruments are the major companies in ICE. Around 60% of the last passed-out batch got internships in ICE with companies including Jaguar and Maruti Suzuki. Top roles include Data Analysis, Networking, and Telecommunication.
Infrastructure: University facilities are good, hygienic, and well-equipped with important equipment and required machinery like Wi-Fi, air conditioner, etc. The hostel is also decent, with proper maintenance and cleaning. Medical facilities are provided with 24/7 emergency service. The mess and canteen can handle the entire crowd of hostels and the university during regular working hours. Good quality and a variety of food are provided, so everything works well.
Faculty: Teachers are decent when it comes to helping, and they are well-qualified in what they teach. Most of the time, they have answers to our difficult queries. Course curriculum is relevant according to our branches. It helps us gain in-depth knowledge of what we are be required to do at the industrial level. Semester exams are moderately difficult and can be handled if studied properly. The pass percentage is quite low, at 33%, so it's easier to manage in the exams.

Good placement, bad campus, no spoon-feeding, good crowd.
Placements: As I am currently in the 5th semester, I don't have detailed information on placements, but till November, 6-7 out of 70 have got internships with the least stipend of 40k and an average around 80k. But with discussions, placements are going quite well. There is not much difference between the placements of the East campus and the main campus, but the only difference is that you have to travel for interviews and tests to the main campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in East campus is not very good. Rooms are good and spacious, and air-conditioned, but the Wi-Fi is equivalent to no Wi-Fi at all, and even my cellular data doesn't work properly here. The ground is not very big too. We are getting a new gym under construction and a new hostel only for girls, Yashasvini, but no hostel for boys currently.
Faculty: Not gonna lie, but be habitual to completing the syllabus on your own through YouTube or any other sources because most of the time, your syllabus will not be completed by the faculty except for some teachers, or the syllabus will be completed roughly, covering only the main topics or introduction topics.
Other: There is a very nice fest known as Moksha and many cultural activities too. But if you are interested in these activities, prefer the main campus only because there are not many such activities in the East campus. The crowd is nice, at least in my case. The campus has easy connectivity and is situated between a normal living area, just like a school. They give a scholarship known as CVPSK to topper students based on merit and financially weaker students. Apart from this, government scholarships like NSP or district scholarships are also available.

Vibrant campus with strong placements with scope for skill growth.
Placements: On average, more than 85 percent of students are placed comfortably, and sometimes the placements are exceptional (provided the market does not suffer a recession). Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Sprinklr, Samsung, DE Shaw, Visa, etc. The top Roles offered are SDE, Product Manager, Consultant, R&D, etc. depending on the type of companies visiting the campus. Average packages for top branches or IT branches are approximately 16–18 LPA. The percentage of students generally getting internships on campus is approximately 40 percent, if the market is booming.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities are available, and sometimes the network is not up to the mark, but they have worked out this and taken the necessary steps. Classrooms are being transformed into smart ones with hi-tech facilities. Library access is there obviously (though a little bit crowded sometimes). As far as the hostel facilities are concerned, the mess food is of average quality. Rooms are of standard sizes. A basketball court is there, and one can practice cricket in the net. Along with that, a running track is being rebuilt so one can enjoy sports while being on campus.
Faculty: The seniors are undoubtedly knowledgeable, and some possess great teaching qualities, but like every other college, they can't dedicate their limited time to entertain every query. The course curriculum is not up to the industry standard, and many subjects are still irrelevant in this era of AI, ML, and newly emerging trends. So, you need to mug them up just for the sake of CGPA and learn various skills on your own to become industry-ready. The average difficulty level is there in exams, so more than 90 percent of students pass the college exams easily.
Other: 2 fests are organized generally: Moksha and Resonanz. Moksha is attaining new heights year by year with the performances of celebrities like Vishal-Shekhar, King, Raftar, etc. Also, the college supports the government scholarships for economically backward students and provides them relief. Facilities are great near the campus like Vegas Mall, food outlets, metro stations, etc. Things which should be improved can be: 1. Lowering the strictness of college administration 2. Focusing more on skill-development of students than curriculum and classes.

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at NSIT with 75 percentile in JEE?

A:

Getting into NSIT's B.Tech programme with a just 75 percentile JEE Main score is extremely challenging.
Popular fields like electronics and computer Science typically have closing ranks for the General category that are less than 2000.
This usually means to a score above 200 or a 99+ percentile on the JEE Main.Even for the reserved categories (OBC, SC, and ST), the cutoffs fall below 10,000 and are in the range of 95+ percentile.
The NSIT computer Science JEE Main closing percentile in 2022 was:
SC - 98.23, ST - 96.32, General - 99.91, OBC - 99.21

Therefore, there is very little to no chance of getting into NSIT with a rank of less than 30,000 or a 75 percentile.
This percentile score means that the engineering colleges you could potentially attend are much less popular.

Q:   Is M.Tech at NSIT better than DTU?

A:

This is a subjective question that depends on various factors such as your preferences, interests, goals, and expectations. However, I can provide you with some information that may help you compare the two institutes.

- NSIT offers an enriched curriculum with elective subjects from the early semesters, catering to students' academic inclinations.

- DTU seems to outshine NSIT in terms of overall college experience, considering factors like events, hostel amenities, and parking.

- NSIT is best in terms of placements, especially for branches like CSE or IT, where students receive cushy salary packages.

- DTU has a larger campus area and more facilities than NSIT, such as a swimming pool, a gym, a library, and a sports complex.

- IIIT Delhi is another option that may be better than both DTU and NSIT if you are planning on pursuing research or doing an MS in the USA after completing your B.Tech.

Ultimately, the choice is yours to make based on your priorities and preferences. I hope this helps.
