B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2026

Everything about NSUT - Main campus.
Placements: Graduate engineer trainee role is offered by the core companies. Data analyst role, business analyst, and software developed engineer are offered by non-tech companies. Many opportunities like video editing and content marketing, etc., are also provided.
Infrastructure: Gym is well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is good. Library is open most of the time. Classrooms are built with high-tech modern interior design with the just right kind of technology that empowers skill development to a great extent. Hostel facilities are average.
Faculty: Excellent faculty members are there. They provide great study material with hands-on knowledge complying with industry standards. Semester exams are difficult but the relatively GPA grading sorts the GPA issue. Professors are helpful in many tangible ways from semester exams to research papers.
Other: The branch of mechanical engineering aligns with my interests. Fest, cultural, and tech are fun.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

Netaji Subhas University of Technology stands as a beacon of academic excellence and innovation.
Placements: The placement season saw a huge decline this season, though the university tried to make students secure positions in good companies. Apart from internships, placements were quite good and almost 60% of the batch sought valuable PPOs and full-time roles, while some also had 6-month internship offers in renowned companies. The highest package is 40 LPA+, and the minimum would be 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Indeed, the faculty and staff at NSUT are very cooperative and work hard for the welfare of the students. Senior professors are very well known in their domain and have made great contributions. They interact with students throughout the semester to ensure smooth understanding of the subjects. Lab facilities and instruments are always taken care of and are provided to all students in well-working conditions (though sometimes there I availability but that's okay, in my opinion). The campus owns a canteen which is quite well maintained and caters to the needs of students in the best possible way.
Faculty: NSUT's curriculum is like every college curriculum in India: old, theoretical and laborious, but that is what works in the Indian educational system. Though your professors will try to provide you with the best real-world experiences. Students are made aware of ground and industry-level work and are explained the relevancy of the subject to reality. Nsut's examination system is very tough and rigid. They do not support lenient marking and evaluate with very detailed.
Other: I chose this course to delve into the exciting world of IoT and this curriculum has helped me a lot. Since my course is more about AI, computer and mixing electronics, I would prefer not to add analogs into it, but that is okay. There are 2 fests throughout the year that are huge celebrations. Students scoring the highest are also provided with the scholarship.

SEE before you believe in words.
Placements: Placement and internship opportunities are great here. Many companies come every year to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Sprinklr, etc. The highest package was 63 LPA, and the average package for CSE is 16-22 LPA. 70 percent of students are placed by the college, and it provides multiple opportunities according to your skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs for my course are nice and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available too. The library is air-conditioned with enough space for many students, and it has a vast collection of books. You can sit there to use your laptop or books to study calmly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful in every way. Teaching quality is good here. The course curriculum is relevant and ensures that you learn to implement things practically, making sure that you are fit for the industry. The pass percentage is pretty high, and the difficulty level is a bit above average.
Other: Computer Science faculty is great, and the college provides excellent placement and internship opportunities. Two fests are conducted in the college: the annual fest called Moksha-Inovision and another fest called Resonaz, which is conducted in October.

Good college if you are coming for the tag and exposure.
Placements: The placements in college are declining; honestly, last year only 50 percent of the batch was placed on campus. That's the case in all the colleges right now due to recession so difficult to analyse. Choose if you can maintain a good CGPA. The placements in tech are still good.
Infrastructure: Not many vacancies outside Delhi. Only Delhi students get hostels, and that too are poor in infrastructure and not hygienic messes. Library is good. Classrooms are air-conditioned for 1st year, not 2nd year onwards most of the time, except if you are in CSE.
Faculty: It's the same in all the colleges: honesty but yes, if I compare the faculty in teaching departments, they are good. We have really experienced and respected professors like Sainani Sir, Dhananjay Gadre Sir, and Op Thakur Sir, who are really devoted and make classrooms fun.
Other: Good fests.

MBA in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development - Batch of 2025

In general, you can enroll if you wish to become an entrepreneur.
Placements: The placement trend for the 2023-25 only 20% are placed. The highest placed is 11 LPA, the lowest 2.25 LPA, and 5 LPA. The programme focuses heavily on entrepreneurship, especially for the MBA-IEV students, providing resources, mentorship, and nurturing their startups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the courses is quite minimal. The classroom is not good. With Wi-Fi campus. The hostel is good. The mess offers quality food and serves four meals a day along with a sweet dish at dinner. The canteen is well maintained. Medical facilities and sports amenities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are mainly helpful and supportive, assisting the students at every step, but not all of them are effective. The course does not have industry-focused guidance that prepares students for the real world. MBA-IEV is mainly through projects and assignments, and only the final semester has traditional exams.

Vibrant campus with strong placements with scope for skill growth.
Placements: On average, more than 85 percent of students are placed comfortably, and sometimes the placements are exceptional (provided the market does not suffer a recession). Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Sprinklr, Samsung, DE Shaw, Visa, etc. The top Roles offered are SDE, Product Manager, Consultant, R&D, etc. depending on the type of companies visiting the campus. Average packages for top branches or IT branches are approximately 16–18 LPA. The percentage of students generally getting internships on campus is approximately 40 percent, if the market is booming.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi facilities are available, and sometimes the network is not up to the mark, but they have worked out this and taken the necessary steps. Classrooms are being transformed into smart ones with hi-tech facilities. Library access is there obviously (though a little bit crowded sometimes). As far as the hostel facilities are concerned, the mess food is of average quality. Rooms are of standard sizes. A basketball court is there, and one can practice cricket in the net. Along with that, a running track is being rebuilt so one can enjoy sports while being on campus.
Faculty: The seniors are undoubtedly knowledgeable, and some possess great teaching qualities, but like every other college, they can't dedicate their limited time to entertain every query. The course curriculum is not up to the industry standard, and many subjects are still irrelevant in this era of AI, ML, and newly emerging trends. So, you need to mug them up just for the sake of CGPA and learn various skills on your own to become industry-ready. The average difficulty level is there in exams, so more than 90 percent of students pass the college exams easily.
Other: 2 fests are organized generally: Moksha and Resonanz. Moksha is attaining new heights year by year with the performances of celebrities like Vishal-Shekhar, King, Raftar, etc. Also, the college supports the government scholarships for economically backward students and provides them relief. Facilities are great near the campus like Vegas Mall, food outlets, metro stations, etc. Things which should be improved can be: 1. Lowering the strictness of college administration 2. Focusing more on skill-development of students than curriculum and classes.

There is no official information indicating that NSUT plans to introduce a BCA programme for the 2025-26 academic session. For the most accurate and up-to-date details, I recommend regularly checking NSUT's official website or contacting their admissions office directly.
