However, admission to courses such as UG Diploma, BA, BPA, and BDes, is based on the aspirant's marks in the last qualifying examination. Gujarat University fees comprise multiple components, such as tuition fees, hostel fees, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all these fee components, some are charged one-time, while some have to be paid semester-wise, such as tuition fees. Gujarat University BCA fees vary depending upon the institute offering the course. The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at Gujarat University. As per the basic eligibility criteria for admission to UG programmes, the candidates must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of fifty percent aggregate.

While for Gujarat University admission to PG programmes candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in the relevant discipline.
