The total tuition fee for BA and BA (Hons) at IGNOU ranges between INR 6,800 and INR 31,500. Additionally, as per the official brochure of 2024, the first-year fee must also include a registration fee of INR 300. And, students opting for BA Psychology (Hons) programme are required to pay an additional fee of INR 600 per year (as per past years' data). Moreover, it must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

IGNOU BA (general) course is of three-year duration and is divided into six semesters. The course curriculum include semester-wise list of subjects. Some of the subjects covered in the first semester of the IGNOU BA programme are:

You may also read sections 11,12,13,14 and 17. Click on the button NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details. Remember, while choosing your UserName it must be between 8 to 16 characters. While choosing your password it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long. After filling the mandatory information click the "SUBMIT" button. Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail and SMS. Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login. If you have already registered I. e you are an existing user click the "LOGIN" button. Before proceeding for filling the form online the applicant must have the following:- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB) Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB) Scanned copy of Age Proof (less than 200 KB) Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB) Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB) Scanned Copy of Category Certificate if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB) Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate if Below Poverty Line (less than 200 KB) Fee can be paid by following methods: Credit Card (Master/Visa) Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay) Net Banking It is necessary to scan documents from your originals. Once you have uploaded the document, click the next button you will get the Form preview option. Save/Print your form for future reference. Please fill up the details carefully. If you are using the services of a cybercafe to fill up your form, plesae make sure that details are correctly filled up and the relevant documents are uploaded as prescribed.

From the academic Year 2022, New Education Scheme is launched, in which after completing 1 year in Graduation You will get a Certificate of completing 1 year, And after 2nd year You will get a Diploma in the Graduation, And for the Degree you have to complete the 3 years and you can also get a research degree after 4th year. This Scheme is Very Useful because if you left the graduation in middle you can continue that after some time when you need with the help of Diploma Certificate etc. Upvote.

If you missed the last date of registration for admission to IGNOU you can still apply for admission through the "late admission" process. IGNOU offers a provision for late admission with a late fee, which allows students to apply for admission even after the last date has passed. After submitting the application form, you will receive a confirmation message or email from IGNOU. You can also check the status of your application by logging in to your IGNOU account. It is important to note that the late admission process is usually open for a limited time and seats may be limited. Therefore, it is recommended to apply for admission as soon as possible after the last date has passed to avoid missing out on the opportunity to enroll in your desired programme.
