The last date for fresh admission and re-registration for IGNOU July 2024 session is extended till Sep 10, 2024. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the university. Candidates shall ensure that they submit their application on or before the prescribed deadline. Besides, the date sheet for June 2024 TEE online is available for students registered under E-Vidya Bharti. 

IGNOU MSc fee is cumulative of multiple components, such as registration fee, tuition fee, etc. The total tuition fee for the MSc course ranges from INR 15,000 to INR 43,200. In addition, the one-time fee ranges between INR 200 and INR 300. Students have to pay the fee amount after registration to confirm enrollment. The fee payment receipt should be kept safe for future references. Moreover, the given fee amount is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

The eligibility criteria for all MSc courses are as follows:

MSc specialisations	Eligibility
Food Nutrition	BSc (Home Science) specialisation in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition or PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or Graduate (BSc Hons) or equivalent (MBBS, BHHS, etc.) from the following background – Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Life Science, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical, Catering along with the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU (simultaneous admission for CFN/ CNCC is also permitted)
Counselling and Family Therapy	Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university
Environmental Science	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline Science/ Engineering/ Agricultural Science/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science from a recognised university
Mathematics with Application in Computer Science	- Graduate with a major or Hons in Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate - If the seats at a centre remain vacant then: Graduate with a BA/ BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the three main subjects with equal weightage, with at least 50% aggregate and 55% aggregate in the Mathematics

The total tuition fee for MSc at IGNOU ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 43,200. Yes, IGNOU is a trusted and accredited distance education university. It is a central university which was established by an ACT of parliament in 1985. Therefore, a distance education degree from IGNOU is equivalent to a degree granted by any recognised university in India. Also, the degree from IGNOU University is acceptable and valid overseas and in foreign countries with ease. The reason behind this is IGNOU is a recognised university under the UGC and is a governmental university too. Adding further, an IGNOU degree is approved by DEC and AICTE as well.
