There is no direct admission to Nalanda University; instead, you must go via their admissions process. A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 55% or more is required; additional criteria, such as job experience, may apply to certain programs. Tests such as the TOEFL or IELTS are also required to demonstrate your English skills, if necessary. You must fill out an online application, upload documents, pay a fee, and supply personal and academic information. Candidates that make the short list go through a selection procedure that may involve an interview and an evaluation of their academic standing. Because admission is competitive, fulfillment of the requirements does not ensure admission.

The placement record was very good. About 70% of students got jobs at different companies like Infosys, TCS, Samsung, Tata Motors, etc. The highest salary package offered was about 10 LPA to 12 LPA, and the average was about 6 LPA. Average students got internships from our course.

To get admission to the University, students first must have a minimum of 70 percentile in the XAT/MAT/CAT entrance test followed by selection for a Personal Interview. The average CAT score can be considered 198 to 180 for the MBA and the 90+ percentile in any of CAT and MAT can be considered good for admission to the top colleges. 

Admission to various courses at Nalanda University is merit-based or entrance exam-based. Candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, PG diploma, and certificate courses at Nalanda University must meet the basic eligibility, and further, they need to submit an application to be considered for the desired course. Nalanda University's application process for all the courses is conducted in the online mode. The application fee for each form is INR 500. 

All Nalanda University MBA graduates found employment in 2022, demonstrating the demand for their skills among businesses. The highest wage that was given was INR 16 LPA, which is a respectable beginning pay. Students were hired by major corporations such as Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum, and they also performed well in summer internships. Following IT (20%), engineering (26%), business development (20%), and operations (20%) accounted for lesser percentages of total graduate employment.
