August 01, 2022: Nearly all of the inaugural batch of Nalanda University's MBA in Sustainable Development and Management students were hired by prestigious companies both domestically and overseas.

The 2022 MBA graduates came from a variety of nations, including Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Ghana, Namibia, and others. Reputable companies where students have finished their internships and been hired include Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, GAIL, UN Global Compact India, Centre for Economic Policy and Public Finance, Loxworth Ltd, and Net Zero Think to name a few. The highest yearly compensation for these students is Rs 16 lakh.

Beginning with the 2020–22 academic year, the MBA in Sustainable Development and Management programme was launched. The school's mission is to meet the human resource demands of multinational corporations by training specialised managerial personnel in sustainable development and management in addition to more traditional management subjects.

Workshop on Research Project - Aquifer Storage & Recovery for Sustainable Agriculture (ASRA)

November 17, 2020: Nalanda University held a two-day workshop and a follow-up visit to the planned sites of the Australian International Agricultural Research Center (ACIAR) between November 15-16. The workshop aimed at examining challenges faced by the locals in south Bihar because of Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) technology. The workshop was witnessed by over 70 people across various backgrounds such as invited speakers, faculty members of Nalanda University, project coordinators, research fellows, farmers, Nalanda district agriculture officials and students.

There were discussions about subjects that are closely related to the project. Few of them includes:

  • Aquifer characterisation and mapping for understanding the geologic framework of aquifers, their hydrologic characteristics, water quality in the aquifers and how they change over time
  • Implementation of ASR Pits for understanding the complexities in implementing the Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) technology

Agrarian changes and environmental vulnerabilities for assessment of social perception about the ASR technology adoption, measurement of environmental risks caused by groundwater depletion and related agrarian changes

There are the best faculty members and the maintenance.

Placements: Our college really has a placement history. In our batch, approximately 200 students are available, from which around 150 students got placements with a better salary package. The top salary package offered to students of our batch was 19 LPA, which is really the greatest salary package.

A review on Nalanda University.

Placements: If reports are to be believed, students of the first batch were the only lucky ones to have this opportunity. It is also said that there were only a very few students in the first batch. As for now, it is clearly stated that there are no placement arrangements by the University. Students, who complete their course in May, have to struggle for opportunities.
