Child rights and Governance- Tezpur university.
Placements: There are no direct placements, and internship programmes are provided. Here the course consists of two semesters, and it is a new course. The curriculum consists of the dissertation and internships rather than any direct placements, so no companies had visited the campus. The passed-out batches got placed in various NGO's with a package of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: TU has good infrastructures compared to other institutes. Efficient library and lack of good medical facilities. Classrooms have a good environment with modern facilities, including air-conditioners. Food provided on the campus is very bad. Hostel rooms are different from hostel to hostel. The research scholars hostels are very well maintained compared to the others. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure.
Faculty: The batch consisted of 14 students and 2 teachers. One of them is not well experienced for which we feel trouble during the dissertation. The teaching quality was also not good and cannot goes through the fundamentals. We have only classroom and field exposures. The course curriculum is useful, but I think there should be an option between the dissertation and the internships, and the mandatary of both makes the course unnecessarily hectic.
Other: TU organises 3 fests, and among them, Techxetra is the most prominent one. The campus crowd is almost 4000 students. However, the Wi-Fi connectivity is very slow. Scholarships were also provided. The basketball court, volleyball, football gives the refreshment after hectic classes.
