Tezpur University is spread over an area of 262 acres with modern infrastructure conducive to learning and dedicated research. The facilities of Tezpur University include Facilities, Central library, Computer Centre, Hostels, Health Centre, Food Quality Control Laboratory (FQCL), Guest House, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Takshashila Vidyapeeth (A Pre-Primary School), Yoga Centre, Horticulture Section, etc.

- Library
Central Library is the focal point of all user community of Tezpur University. The Library caters to the educational and research needs of the academic community and its resources are consulted by scholars from all over the country. Central Library has been started functioning since 1994. At present, the library holds about 83200+ books, 10000+ journals (print + online),online databases, CDs and 7848 back volumes of journals. Library is a member of e-ShodhSindhu Consortium, DeLCON consortium and DELNET. Library users can access book database, journal database, e-journals, institutional repository, electronic thesis & dissertations and other e-resources from any terminal within the University campus. Library provides reading facility for 365 days in the year. The library is continuously striving at to adopt the best practices in all endeavours of its activities. The library has fully computerized with the help Libsys software which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library.
- Hostel
Tezpur University has 5 boys hostel and 7 girls hostel.All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system etc. The University provides separate accommodation for men and women students and research scholars, having more than 3700 capacity. The University also has a married research scholar’s hostel with capacity of accommodating more than 30 married research scholars.
