Yes, anyone can pursue B.Ed course at Uttarakhand University in distance learning. Candidates who are willing to get admission to this course must fulfil the minimum educational requirements of the course. The minimum eligibility is to pass a UG or PG degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories) or UG degree in Engineering with minimum 55% aggregate from a recognised university. 

After that, it's mandatory for candidates to qualify for UOU B.Ed entrance exam and apply on the official website of (uou.ac.in).

UOU offers BA, BBA, BSc, BCom, BCA, etc., at the UG level and MA, MSc, MA, MCA and MCom at the PG level. Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) is the only Open University established in the state of Uttarakhand with an objective to impart distance learning education at the UG and PG levels. The university offers over 85 programmes at UG, PG and Doctorate levels. UOU admission is merit-based.

For PG level courses, such as M.A., MSc, MBA, candidates must have passed graduation with minimum 50% aggreagte. Selection for majority of the programme, is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. However, MBA admission is entrance-based (MAT/CAT/university level exam). 

UG courses, including Bcom and BSc requires Class 12 from a recognised board. Final admission is merit-based at Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Haldwani.

The University prepares its students for several industry-related demands by offering various short-term courses in distance learning mode such as a Diploma in 18 specialisations, PG Diploma in 10 specialisations and Certificate Programme in 31 specialisations. Apart from these, the University also offers a three-month Foundation Course for Education of Children with Disabilities (FCECD).. .

UOU admission process is both entrance-based and merit-based. Some of the programmes, such as M.A., MSc and BSc admission is merit-based. However, B.Ed and MBA admission is based on a valid score in entrance examination. Interested candidates can fill out the application form in both online and offline modes.
