Facilities are good and you can apply for any courses like Diploma and graduation .

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and exams are slightly tough. The pass percentage is 35%. Some teachers behavior is not so good, but everyone has their own right to present themselves in any way. Also, the teachers are helpful as well as qualified and experienced.

There are no placement facilities and the university should work on this.

Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. This course made students industry-ready. Students got 2 questions to write answers with tricks for the right or wrong questions. It gave students a chance to increase their percentage.

Opt for it only if necessary.

Faculty: Teachers are good enough, but they are always busy as it is an open distance learning university. But it's good as per environment but doesn't help in studies provided by the university. Teaching is self-placed in this university, and the course is a little old as per the new tech world.

It is a good university in overall Uttarakhand for distance education.

Faculty: Teachers have good behaviour and help students when they visit or call them. Staff members behaviour is also good. The course curriculum is good, but it is a bit outdated for today or as compared to today's industry-oriented learning. Overall, it is a good university, but it needs few changes in study materials. Faculty members are good.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with placements of our college.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good. They are highly qualified and very helpful in nature. They help us to work on live projects and workshops. They also help students in internship projects. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and very helpful.

The university is good for the part-time education programme.

Faculty: The course curriculum was relevant, and somewhat related questions are asked in the exams. Regarding teachers, I never really interacted with them since there was no class held. We mostly study from home as there is no interaction with the staff.

Helpful for distance learning.

Faculty: Course curriculum is specified. Practical knowledge is not much involved in this. As it is a private course, so teachers are not involved much in this. But I preferred to take tuition from my nearby teachers. One don't need to rely much on teachers as it is an open university.

Uttarakhand Open University is one of best open universities in Uttarakhand.

Faculty: Our teachers are good, and one can ask them about your assignments and projects. Our teachers are very helpful. Only a few students come for counselling classes, so you have to ask your faculty that when they can conduct classes. In counselling classes, you can clear your doubts, and they will help you.

No, Uttaranchal Open University does not currently offer courses specifically related to nursing. They focus on various distance education programs, but for nursing, you would need to look at other institutions that specialize in medical and paramedical courses.
