In order to be eligible to apply for MBA at TAPMI, the applicant must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. In case of opting for an MBA in Technology Management, interested candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience.

Moreover, final-year students are also eligible to apply. However, the admission shall be canceled if they are unable to obtain a minimum of 50% in their graduation.

Candidates need to complete any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TAPMI Manipal MBA programme. Final year students may also apply. However, the admission shall be cancelled if they obtain less than 50% aggregate in their graduation. Aspirants applying for MBA Technology Management must also fulfil below requiements:

• Minimum two years of work experience
• Should be able to demonstrate interest in technology domain in the technology interview round

TAPMI Manipal selects candidates for MBA based on their Management entrance exam scores. Below is the selection criteria along with weightage for MBA:

The CAT score required for TAPMI varies depending on the category of the candidate. TAPMI CAT cutoff is released for admission to the MBA course at the time of admission. However, based on the previous year's trends, the required CAT cutoff for General category candidates is around 85 percentile. 

Also, the cutoffs for admission to TAPMI may vary for candidates with work experience of more than 20 months. The institute follows a profile-based shortlisting process that considers various factors such as academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular achievements.
