TAPMI begins its MBA admission process by releasing the application form. Interested students must apply for preferred course by visiting the official website of the college.  The eligibility criteria for different MBA programs offered by TAPMI are as follows:
MBA (General/ Marketing/ HRM/ BKFS): UG degree with 50% aggregate.
MBA (International Business): UG degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks in medical/para-medical/pharma.
MBA (Technology Management): UG degree with 50% aggregate and minimum two years of work experience.

TAPMI MBA applications can be submitted only in online mode. Interested students can submit their application by visiting the college’s official website. Students would be required to upload the following documents while filling out the application form:

• CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT scorecard
• Transfer certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)

TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Also, the cutoff score vary for different catergory students.

Yes, TAPMI accepts XAT score for admission to MBA programme. Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted once in a year in online mode. Besides, candidates who have qualified CAT, MAT, NMAT or GMAT can also get admission to MBA. Candidates selected based on the entrance exam score are further called for group discussion and personal interview round. 

TAPMI Manipal offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance exam. The institute shortlists aspirants for MBA programme based on entrance exam scores.
