Candidates need to complete any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TAPMI Manipal MBA programme. Final year students may also apply. However, the admission shall be cancelled if they obtain less than 50% aggregate in their graduation. Aspirants applying for MBA Technology Management must also fulfil below requiements:

• Minimum two years of work experience
• Should be able to demonstrate interest in technology domain in the technology interview round

The CAT score required for TAPMI varies depending on the category of the candidate. TAPMI CAT cutoff is released for admission to the MBA course at the time of admission. However, based on the previous year's trends, the required CAT cutoff for General category candidates is around 85 percentile. 

Also, the cutoffs for admission to TAPMI may vary for candidates with work experience of more than 20 months. The institute follows a profile-based shortlisting process that considers various factors such as academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular achievements.

Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Yes, TAPMI accepts XAT score for admission to MBA programme. Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted once in a year in online mode. Besides, candidates who have qualified CAT, MAT, NMAT or GMAT can also get admission to MBA. Candidates selected based on the entrance exam score are further called for group discussion and personal interview round.
