Dr Ashwini Kumar
Dr. Ashwini Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at School of Social Sciences, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, India. He has more than 6 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Kumar worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi, New Delhi for five years. His research interest areas are Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Dr. Kumar completed his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) Roorkee, Uttarakhand, He has good number of research publication including book chapters in National and International journals/edited books. He has also completed one research project funded by cluster innovation center (CIC), University of Delhi, New Delhi.
Prof Suhas Shetgovekar
Prof. Suhas Shetgovekar is presently Professor with Discipline of Psychology, IGNOU, New Delhi. She joined IGNOU as a Reader in December, 2010. She earlier served as a Course Director at the Abbé Faria Post Graduate Department of Psychology, St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, Goa and has been visiting faculty/ resource person for institutions like Goa Institute of Management, National Institute of Construction Management and Research, Goa , Central Board for Workers Education, Goa, ICFAI, Goa, Saraswat College, Goa, PostGraduate Department of Commerce, St. Xavier’s College, Goa and V.V Giri National Labour Institute, Noida. She has conducted numerous training programmes on behavioural skills in various industries and organizations in Goa. She has also conducted sessions on research and statistics in IGNOU, JNU and DU. She is on the editorial board of IGNOU Journal of Open Learning published by IGNOU. She completed her MA in Psychology (Gold Medalist) and Ph. D in Psychology from Karnataka University, Dharwad, Karnataka. She has been actively involved in teaching psychology, management and related subjects in varied institutions. She has also worked in the area of family counseling and women related issues. She has presented and published papers on topics pertaining to health modernity, women related issues, couple relationship, ethics in psychological research, culture and industrial and organizational psychology.
