I had a great experience with our course and regular lab classes.
Placements: We will get updates on phone messages from different well-known companies. I also got guidance from an international company on how to give interviews. If you are willing, proper guidance will be provided. They will also provide placements after completing graduation. I still get placement messages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is based on the college that you prefer for your course. Nearby options are also available. Our college, Maharaja Agresen College, is in Vasundhara, Delhi. When you take admission, you have options in your area too to get the facilities in your nearby colleges, which are very helpful.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. The study material is very good because it is preferred by UPSC candidates. Many specialist teachers prefer this university just because of the friendly behaviour of the staff and the facilities. The curriculum is very good and updated.
Other: Events like trips are organised by IGNOU.

Dissatisfied in a way because of slow process of results of practicals, exams and assignments.
Placements: There are no online campus placements at IGNOU University. Students have to find jobs offline with their potential. No packages were offered to any student. No companies come to IGNOU. No student is enrolled for any internship.
Infrastructure: There are no particular facilities for IGNOU students. IGNOU conducts their course study in a particular college which they allot, but for the practicals and other things, we have to go to different colleges. Mine was first Gargi college, but after the second year, I was allotted Aurbindo college to study. In both colleges, there is no Wi-Fi. The library, classrooms and labs are well defined, spacious, safe and well-equipped. IGNOU doesn't provide any hostel facilities for students. The canteen is good and large. There is a ground for sports and games, but we could not participate in any games. Medical facilities are splendid.
Faculty: The teachers are quite educated in both the colleges. But they are not really helpful to any student in their studies or doubts. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is good for honors. I find the chemistry honors course quite amazing, filled with practicals and assignments, for which we have to attend particular classes. Semester exams are quite difficult because they don't teach properly for exams. We have to study by ourselves. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I got 95 marks in chemistry in my 12th board, which is higher than any other subject. I also have an interest in chemistry, that's why I chose it. The teaching technique should be improved. They should not only complete the syllabus but teach the concepts clearly. The college should be allotted for a student, which is near to his area, and the results should be declared on time. It is a very slow process. There are no scholarships, extracurricular activities, fests and events for IGNOU students.

I am not much satisfied with our college.
Placements: It is a good university for part-time learners. But there is no placement support. Neither internships are provided. They arrange placements, but that's for not so good profiles. They are like assistant and executive profiles, and the salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities provide no proper classrooms. It will take more than 3 years to finish your graduation. Secondly, you have to roam for assignment and practicals. Its time consuming sometimes. But for part-time learners, it is good. You will get a degree delayed.
Faculty: The course curriculum is great. The exam process is the one I like the most. They conduct exams twice a year. So if you fail in a particular subject, you don't need to wait for another year. You can reappear after 6 months only. Study material is very helpful and easy to understand.

Dissatisfied with the lack of knowledge of teachers & the problem solving skills of regional centre.
Placements: It is an open course so there is no direct placement available. Because IGNOU is an open University. They organize campus placement once in a year. I am in the last year so don't know about percentage of students getting placements. So the placement is an issue for open courses.
Infrastructure: For my course B.Sc. there are many study centre available for practical and other activities. Quality of labs, instruments and equipment available is below average. For student's issues, there is a regional centre available which takes a long time to solve the issue. There is a lack of knowledge in regional centre.
Faculty: Teachers have average knowledge. Classes were held only once a week on Sunday on study centres. Teaching quality was quite okay. But not for all teachers. For the practicals, there was no proper place for all students. Because of the less number of teachers.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in chemistry.
