The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any field from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Association of Indian Universities, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent. As for the CAT or other entrance exam score requirements, they are determined by the year's cutoff.

Candidates in their final year of a bachelor's degree programme or taking an equivalent qualification test, as well as those who have finished their degree requirements and are awaiting results, are all eligible to apply. These applicants must present a certificate from their institution's president verifying their current status as final-year students.
