MAH CET 2026 exam dates are April 6, 7, 8 and May 9. City intimatin slip for April sessions is expected anytime soon. The MAH CET 2026 city intimation slip will have the name of city/district/taluka in which the candidate has been alloted a test centre. MAH MBA CET 2026 admit card will be released most likely by April 2, 2026.

What is MAH MBA CET?

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH CET for MBA/MMS is a state level management entrance test. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducts the MAH CET annually for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM courses offered by various institutes in the state of Maharashtra. The exam score is accepted by:

1. All Government of Maharashtra Management Education Institutes
2. University Departments of Management Education
3. University Managed Management Education Institutes
4. All Un-Aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act

The exam is essentially conducted for domicile candidates but aspirants from outside Maharashtra can also appear under AI category. MAH CET MBA entrance exam is followed by a common counselling process for seat allotment. This process is called the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). In the CAP, candidates under AI category having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can also participate in MAH CET CAP.

Key Changes in MAH CET MBA/MMS 2026

This year, a few changes have been made in the MAH MBA CET exam. Here are the top 3 key changes:

  • Increase in fee amount from INR 1200 to INR 1500 (General category) and from INR 1000 to INR 1300 (Reserved categories)
  • MAH CET 2026 will be held twice and candidates can choose to appear once or twice. If a candidate attempts the exam twice, best of two score will be considered for admission. 
  • Fee is to be paid per attempt while filling the MAH MBA CET application form.
  • APAAR and Aadhaar identitfication is mandatory for MAH CET registration 2026.
  • City intimation slip will be released for candidates to check their test city beforehand

MAH MBA CET Admit Card 2026

MAH CET MBA admit card will be released online. The hall tickets for April and May sessions will be released on different dates. Registered candidates will have to download it by using their login credentials. Given below is a brief description of MAH CET 2026 admit card download process:

  • Visit Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test website
  • Go to MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 
  • Enter MBA CET 2026 application number and date of birth
  • Enter security pin and click on 'sign in'
  • Go to download admit card option
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen

MAH MBA CET 2026 answer key, question paper and candidate response sheet will be released a few days after the exam. Given below is the process to download MAH MBA CET 2026 answer key:

  • Go to Maharashtra State CET website: cet.cell.mahacet.org
  • Login with registered email ID and password
  • Go to 'objection tracking' option
  • Download MAH MBA CET answer key and question paper 2026

Option to raise objection against the official MAH CET 2026 answer key will be given to candidates. The window to raise objection against the provisional answer key will be open for 2-3 days. MAH MBA CET 2026 final answer key will be released with exam result. Earlier, MAH CET would not release the official answer key, but from 2024 onwards, the examination body started to release the answer keys to ensure transparency in candidate evaluation and result preparation.

MAH MBA CET admission is done through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. All MBA CET qualifiers can participate in the CAP rounds for MBA/MMS seat allotment. Students from outside Maharashtra are required to have a valid scores of CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA to be eligible to apply for admissions to Maharashtra management colleges under MAH MBA CET counselling.

MBA CET CAP registrations is done online. Candidates have to register for the MBA CET CAP on Maharashtra CET website before the deadline. Listed below are key points candidates must know about MAH CET MBA counselling.

  • MAH MBA CET CAP round 2026 will be held for both Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates.

MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Check below minimum academic requirement for MAH CET 2026.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (at least 45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).

  • Final year graduation students or those awaiting their result are also eligible to apply. However, their average score of 2 years, should be as per the requirement.

  • Candidates appearing for CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA are considered to be eligible for admission in the All India Seats category. Such candidates will not have to appear for MAH CET.

  • There is no upper age limit for MAH CET. Working professionals can also appear for the exam.
  • Candidates are required to have Aadhaar card as it is now a mandatory requirement to fill the MAH CET application form
