A good finance management institute.
Placements: Placements in our college need to be improved. We had elected a placement team out of the student council, but along with them, even the professors must try a lot for the placements for the students. Even during internships, we try on our own, and there is no stipend as well.
Infrastructure: The college is well-maintained. The seating arrangement should be improved. There should be air conditioners in all the lecture halls. Conference rooms are well-maintained. More care should be taken on labs. We lack the canteen facility. There is a hostel facility for the students.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college were good. Internal faculty and mentors were very supportive. They were very highly qualified, and their teaching methodology was very nice. They readily helped us whenever we needed them. We lack the industry exposure. The course was well-designed.

It is a nice management institute.
Placements: The placements need a lot of improvement. Just because there is a placement team elected doesn't mean there should be no senior backup. During our internships and final placement, we had to strive on our own. Alumni meet is organised only once, but even that doesn't help much.
Infrastructure: There is a lot of scope for the improvement of infrastructure of the college. The chairs provided in the classrooms are not great at all. The quality of projector is good. All the classrooms are not air-conditioned. Only the conference rooms are air-conditioned.
Faculty: The professors were exceptionally great. All of them were highly qualified and well experienced. All the faculty members came from various backgrounds. All the finance professors were very helpful. The internal faculty of the college were extremely nice, and they gave us appropriate guidance.

A great finance institute in Mumbai.
Placements: The placements need a lot of improvement. During our tenure, we had a placement team elected by all of us from the student council. These people used to help us definitely regarding our internships, but at the end of the day, even they were students. There should have been campus placements.
Infrastructure: The campus of the college is very huge, and there is greenery all around. As far as JDBIMS is concerned, there should be an improvement in the classrooms and projectors. There is no canteen facility. The hostel seems to be okay. The food there is hygienic. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty for finance are amazing. All the professors were wonderful. They were all very experienced and highly qualified. All the internal and external faculty were helpful. They treated us like their own children and were extremely unbiased. The overall experience with the professors was amazing.

A review about Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: The placements were okay. During our internships, the placement team helped and guided us a lot, but there should be a senior backup as well I feel. We got internships in good companies, though most people did not get any stipend. There is no campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not that good according to me. The hostel facility is there but not that great. Overall, rooms that we have in the hostel and the food we get can be improved. There is no canteen facility. The library and lab facility is good.
Faculty: The course made is good. From the basic management subjects to then entering the core financial management, the subjects were all great. The faculty are very good. We have extremely experienced and helpful faculty. The internal faculty are also helpful.

It is a wonderful management institute.
Placements: The placements were not good enough. The college has a placement team with a placement head. They were elected by us, only from the student council. But, during our internships and final placements, we had to work on our own. Even though the placement team extended its help, it was too difficult to get placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was average. The campus has greenery all around. Classrooms were huge, but air-conditioners were not provided. Only the conference halls were air-conditioned. Overall, the campus life was not great. The hostel life was good.
Faculty: The course curriculum was great. It provides knowledge related to the basic concepts of management and all the hard-core finance subjects. The faculty were great. They all were highly experienced, and they always loved to teach us. Overall, it was great.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Can I get direct admission to JDBIMS?

A:

JDBIMS follows a multi-step admission process that students must follow to gain entry into the college. The process begins with the application, followed by a course-specific entrance exam and other selection rounds. Once the selection rounds are completed, the college releases merit lists on its official website. Interested candidates can then submit the fee and confirm their admission. Before filling out the admission form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria on the official website of JDBIMS.

Application Round: The application process is offline. Candidates must visit the official website to download the application form.

Selection Round: The selection is based on the MAH CET and Common Entrance Test (CET). Candidates are usually required to take the test and participate in the centralised admission process of the DTE of the State of Maharashtra. Candidates who meet the cutoff requirements are then invited to participate in the institute's selection process, which often includes group discussions (GD) and personal interviews (PI), academic accomplishments, and job experience.

Admission Confirmation: After the selection rounds, candidates who are shortlisted and have their names on the merit lists can submit the fee and confirm their admission to the relevant course at JDBIMS.

Average salary is approximately INR 4 lpa - INR 5 lpa, and there are 2 courses available in this institute. For MBA, they have their own entrance exam, and for MMS you have to give MH-CET to get admission. Cut off for this college is quite low.
