A good marketing college in Mumbai.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, but if they are improved, then they will be wonderful. We have a placement team, elected by the student council to support all the students in the batch, during their internships and final placements. The campus interviews have to be improved.
Infrastructure: Our college has a quite huge campus. There are many institutes surrounded by the management college. The computer labs can be improved. There are no ACs in the classrooms. The conference halls are good. The canteen facility has to be improved.
Faculty: The faculty for marketing department are awesome. Both the internal and external professors were very helpful. They guided us throughout the course. They were highly experienced and well-educated. The industry exposure can be improved. The course design is very nice and apt for the students.

A good marketing management institute.
Placements: The placements in our college were quite okay, but the entire process needs some improvement. The institute is good regarding the management. They teach very well. The students from the student council elect the placement team. It helps us definitely, but there should be campus placements as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has to be improved. The chairs on which we sit and attend lectures should be improved. The campus is full of greenery and is spacious. There are many tiny things to be taken into consideration.
Faculty: The faculty of marketing management were all excellent. Both the internal and external faculty were awesome. The lectures and practical training was excellent. The internal staff are very helpful. Industry exposure is to be provided to the students. Still, the teaching was very good.

Absolute dissatisfaction.
Placements: Our college does have a placement team which works for students placements and Internships. But hardly, any companies visit our college. The reason being lack of recognition in comparison to other B-schools. Also, its the students who refuse to disclose the full name of JDBIMS until required to do so, so they refer saying it "Bajaj Institute" Internships were solely found by the students and hardly 10% students were placed in the finals. Hardly any company visit our campus, to name a few such as Aditya Birla Group (ABG), Pacific oils etc. Again, very few students could be placed by the college for internships. We students had to approach the companies via our contacts. Around 10-12% were placed during internship. The highest stipend received was Rs.12,500, the lowest was Rs. 1000 (many a times there was no stipend being offered), Average was Rs. 5000. Earlier, during our seniors batch, this wasn't the case. Dr. T. J. Mathew ( our former Director) took all the responsibility for the students internship and tried his best to GET the students placed in the finals as well. He had excellent contacts which helped us approach good companies and build relations for future as well. Good roles were offered ( better than our batch). There were 100% internship placements for our seniors batch. The highest salary package: around Rs.5,00,000 p. a, the lowest: around Rs.2,50,000 p. a. and average was around Rs.3,50,000 p. a. Thus, our college needs more recognition and more contacts from the college placement cell.
Infrastructure: We had good Wi-Fi, labs where 50% of the computers did not work, Classrooms where hardly did the projectors worked, Medical facilities were okay and we did celebrate Sports day in the S. N. D. T campus. The washrooms were always in bad condition, where at times there was water cut. Hostels rooms were even worse. They faced many more problems including water cut, electricity cut, no proper food from MESS (bad hygiene) especially during rainy season there you to be water leaking in the rooms, but yes canteen food was good, we could always count on the canteen food. I did face problems in the lab when I had to wait for others to finish their work and then use the computer since after half of them were't working. No proper library, we always had to turn to the SNDT library for the books.
Faculty: Teaching quality was average. Most of the professors preferred teaching with the help of powerpoints where they just read the slides. Some professors did care to help us by actually explaining us the concepts and theories. A few of the professors always helped by giving us such projects and assignments which gave Industry exposure. Some of them did not care and just read the slides for the sake of completing their syllabus. 1-2 Professors were really good. We had visiting faculty members to teach us and give the real exposure of the industry. We did have good interactions with the professors during the lectures. Some ( 1-2) of them were really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable.
Other: We had different events organised in the college itself such as Freshers party, Diwali party, Christmas party, different cultural events etc., scholarships, extracurricular activities such as different club heads organised different competitions such marketing club organised ad making competition, HR club organised poster making competitions and so on. Campus crowd was decent. Also, campus surroundings was kept clean and green.
