When students choose the DPMT course there is a focus on mould design, assembling of moulds, mould manufacture, CNC milling and CNC lathe. Mould designers are trained to use computer-aided design (CAD) software and technologies to create plastic mould designs used in the manufacturing of a variety of items. Our students are also trained in Professional Communication to make them more confident in work place interactions. Graduating students find attractive job opportunities in product design and mould design as well as production and manufacturing.
