Faculty details

Prof. Manish Thakur - Professor, IIM Calcutta
Prof. Manish’s areas of expertise include Indian social structure, consumption, culture and markets, sociological theories, qualitative research methodology, and economy and society in post-colonial India. He did his PhD from Goa University. He was conferred the Dr. V.K.R.V. Rao Award in Social Sciences from ISEC, Bengaluru and ICSSR, New Delhi. Prof. Manish is a member of the managing committee of the Indian Sociological Society. His work has been published in many reputed journals.
Prof. R. Rajesh Babu - Professor of Law
Prof. Babu is a lawyer by training with two decades of experience in industry and academia. He has been a post-doctoral scholar-in-residence at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Geneva, a visiting scholar on DAAD Scholarship at Hamburg University, and a Fellow at the Centre for Studies and Research, Hague Academy of International Law.
