Aspiring students are required to register on the official website of CUET fill the application form online. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Starting 2022, for BA, BSc and BVoc, JMI started accepting the scores of CUET UG. For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection. 

The students who wish to enrol in JMI's undergraduate programmes must take the CUET and those who wish to get into a PG degree must write JMI entrance test. The university offers more than 50 UG programmes, such as BTech, BDS, BPT, and others. along with a wide range of postgraduate courses. The total tuition fee for BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes at Jamia Millia Islamia ranges between INR 23,400 - INR 3.9 lakh. Jamia Millia Islamia offers admission to a total of four BSc/ BSc (Hons) courses via CUET UG. As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BSc at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET.
