The University Placement Cell of JMI has released the placement data for BTech and MCA programs. According to the report, 12 students from MCA and BTech (CS/EE/ECE) were placed by Optum as Software Development Associates with salary package of INR 18 LPA during JMI placements 2024. Earlier, 59.7% of the total students was placed in the IT domain whereas 14.3% and 9.7% students were placed in the Management and Finance domains, respectively during Jamia Millia Islamia placements 2023. Moreover, the Internship distribution rate during JMI placements 2023 was 10%.

Other than this, the placement rate recorded during JMI MCA placements 2023 was 70%. The top recruiters during JMI MCA placements 2023 included TCS, Accenture and HCL. The highest package offered during JMI MCA placements 2023 stood at INR 8 LPA. Further, the highest stipend offered during JMI MCA placements 2023 was INR 40,000. Further, according to media reports, more than 350 students were placed during Jamia Millia Islamia phase 1 placements 2023. Placements: In our college, students are associated with various corporate private, and government jobs. They are associated with various news channels, freelance writing, and content writing. Their maximum salary is 10 Lacs and the minimum salary is 3 Lacs per year. They also do teaching and tutoring of various kinds.

Infrastructure: Our college has beautiful furnished and modern classrooms and college buildings. The college has a library and it has more than 50 thousand books. The college has free Wi-Fi. There are many canteens in the college and the food here is very hygienic and delicious. The college has separate hostel arrangements for boys and girls.

Faculty: The college examination medium is the semester system and the pass rate is very high. In addition to studies in the college, various curricular activities and projects such as changing projects are conducted. The teachers here are very skilled, experienced, and well-educated. They always help students in their studies.

Placements: About 20% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters include Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Around 70% of students get internships, and most of them get paid internships. The top roles offered by companies are web development, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. Labs are not very updated. Classrooms are good and all the classrooms are updated. The library has all the books related to this course and other courses. The central library is available. Only 40 hostel seats are available.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. They solve all problems. Semester exams are not very difficult. Teachers are cooperative. Almost 80% of the students pass the exams. They teach industry-ready topics but the syllabus is not related to industry as they follow old-school syllabus.

Best campus, bad infrastructure of Psychology department, and best faculties.

Placements: As I am a psychology student, placement in this course is not that active on my campus. But there is a placement cell with which we have affiliation. But the thing is, my seniors (the previous passed-out batch) have been admitted to different universities for M.Phil. and PhD.

Infrastructure: Hostel is good. There is good infrastructure and mess. But the Department of Psychology is bad. There are no separate class rooms for PG and UG. Programmes are conducted on corridors. There is free WiFi on campus. We have a vast library and large reading halls with air conditioning. We have many canteens where Veg and Non-Veg are available. We have fee consultation facilities at the hospital. We have a big sports complex where we can practice.

Faculty: Faculties are really helpful. But syllabus is not that updated. There are two sessions before every semester exams, and every exam was conducted on time. The semester exam is not that difficult for those who studied. At least two modules from every subject come in the exams.

Other: It was my dream to study in Jamia. By God's grace, I cracked the entrance exam and got admission. The campus is perfect, and the events here are entertaining. Only negative is the bad infrastructure of the psychology department. Also, the best thing about my course is the compulsory internship during the third semester; it was a really good experience and will make us capable of becoming good psychologists.

It's a massive and wonderful experience there.

Placements: Our university placements are very generous. I am pursuing an M.Sc. in biophysics program at Jamia Millia Islamia. Some of the top recruiters for JMI are Bechtel, Blue Star, Hyatt, Schneider Electric, Wipro, Cisco, Optum, McKinley Price, etc. The highest salary package offered during the first phase of the placement drive was 24.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. The JMI placement process includes enrolling students, collecting their data, inviting companies to recruit, and preparing PPTs, tests, and interviews.

Infrastructure: Our university has a well-maintained campus with excellent infrastructure. Some say the infrastructure is modern and well-equipped, while others say it is beautiful. Most classrooms have projectors and Wi-Fi, and some have air conditioning. The central library has an extensive collection of books, magazines, and digital resources. The university has a large sports complex with many sports facilities such as badminton, basketball, cricket, football, etc. Also, there are medical facilities in our university.

Faculty: Our lecturers have great experience and special knowledge. They have a friendly demeanor and hold a high place in our hearts and minds. The quality of the teaching is excellent. The teaching methods include PowerPoint presentations, the chalkboard method, and some great and helpful case studies. We can gain an excellent industry presence through alumni meetings, interactive sessions, and seminars.

Placements: Many companies are tried up with Jamia like Zomato, ITC, Honda, Byju's, Tata, S&P Global, EY, OYO, HCL, UrbanClap, Hindustan Times, Assocham, Sharekhan, HDFC Bank, FedEx, Axis Bank, Swiggy, Bajaj Allianz, etc. Around 70-80% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: There are labs for each class. There are two big libraries with super-fast Wi-Fi connections. There are smart blocks that prevent students from playing games and visiting sites. The hostel here provides 3 meals per day. Jamia also owns a hospital that gives free medical facilities for Jamia students.

Faculty: Professors here are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is very good and easy to understand. Semester exams are of moderate level which you can easily clear with the help of teachers and seniors. Semester exams are held twice a year. They are value for money.
