Have a look at IIT Jammu, a new IIT having pretty good performance compared to other 3rd gen IITs.
Placements: Last year about 60% were placed on and off campus. Placements are pretty average here; nothing like crores of packages. The highest package is 45 lacs. The average package is 19 lacs. The lowest package is 11 lacs. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, Nvidia, etc. About 70% of students get international and domestic internships as we have collaborations with the Taiwan study center also. Top roles offered are software engineer, business consultant, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have very good infrastructure, new buildings, AC classes, all types of equipped laboratories, and good Wi-Fi connection. The library is not up to expectations; it is quite small with low capacity. Mess food is average, sometimes really bad, sometimes good; special dinner is quite good. Medical facilities are up to the marks; basic medical facilities are available within the campus, and for any major problem, a 24/7 ambulance is available for the nearest good hospital. A new gymkhana is opening in a few months, giving absolutely all good sports like badminton, basketball, and volleyball (still we have courts). In the new gymkhana, there are more. We have 2 fully equipped gyms.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, but I personally didn't like most teachers way of explaining. The curriculum is midway; it has good modern courses like AI and also old-school subjects. Definitely, students can't rely only on college for placements; we have to keep learning new technologies by ourselves too. Semester exams are again not so difficult to score; if you do all questions given by the teacher in tutorials, you can easily be in the toppers of the class. Pass percentage this semester was 30% in most courses.
Other: This was what I was getting based on my JEE advance rank; that's why I chose this. It's an IIT, so it always has an edge compared to other colleges. Many improvements can be made, such as better explanations of topics, better timetables, etc. Main events Anhad and many other events keep happening throughout the year; recently we have Convoquor and Pahal as sports events. Good scholarships for economically weak students are provided.

IIT Jammu: Superb college for IIT with best infrastructure and facility.
Placements: 85% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was about 30-40 lacs. The lowest package was about 20-25 lacs. Top recruitment companies were TCS, Goldman Sachs, etc. Almost 80 to 90% of students got internships from my course in companies like TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are always educated and acknowledged in the first structure; super labs and classrooms are hi-tech, and the library is good. Facilities in my hostel are of superb quality; the food available in the mess is good, and canteen medical facilities are superb. Sports and games are also superb.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Teaching qualities of these teachers are super personal attention is provided. This course is curriculum-relevant; it makes students industry-ready. Semester exam makes students prepare for final exams.
Other: This course is related to my field, which I like. The best thing about my course is my favorite subject: math and computers.

As this is a new IIT, the infrastructure is new, and the equipment is well-advanced.
Placements: Around 20 percent of students in my branch get placement through campus. The highest package was 20 lakhs, the lowest placement was 4 lakhs, and the average package is around 7-9 lakhs in my course. The top recruiting company last year was Byju's. Around 10 percent of students received internships in different sectors, including tech companies and core industries.
Infrastructure: Our campus is operating on 35 acres right now, and it is expanding slowly. We have a very small library here, which is just adequate. The campus is fully equipped with WiFi. The hostels are not very impressive but are good enough. The mess food is the worst. We have sports facilities for badminton, athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, a pool table, gym, etc. We have a medical unit also.
Faculty: Some of the professors are good and help students after the lecture too, but some of the professors are not experienced enough to teach, and their behavior is also poor. The course curriculum is very relevant and is similar to other IITs. You can get a very good CGPA with only minimal effort, but there is a subject called calculus which requires a lot of effort to pass.

It has natural beauty, but not sure about the quality of education.
Placements: Out of 22, only 7-8 students got placed. Two of them secured jobs in land management, one in management, and the rest in teaching profiles. Unplaced students opted for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 7 LPA. All students secured internships. Top roles offered in our batch are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Materials science lab is well-equipped with all the necessary instruments, such as SEM, TEM, XRD, and more. There is also one dedicated lab for materials students that includes a muffle furnace and many other things. Recently built hostels are good, all are single occupancy rooms with air-conditioning. There is one separate building dedicated to mess only, which is of 4 floors.
Faculty: Teachers are good but not much. Most of them have completed their education from esteemed universities, mostly from outside India. Only a few of them teach well and other's teaching style is so boring. Pass percentage is 33%. Exams are easy to moderate, if we know concepts then we can score good grades.

Avery good college and I would recommend to join here.
Placements: This is a very nice college, and you should opt for it as it offers full facilities. Faculty members are highly qualified, so you must consider this college. It has an easygoing environment, and everything is fine here. Placements at this college are excellent. You can even get a package of one crore from IIT Jammu, even if you're in a material branch. Computer Science Engineering students are getting salary packages of around 1.5 crores per annum.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch, you don't need anything else here. College facilities, hostel facilities, and food services are of a supreme level. Wi-Fi speed is very good, and the library is excellent. Everything you need is available, and the quality is next level. You can even connect via Ethernet wire.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and have Master's degrees or Ph.Ds. They are highly knowledgeable in their fields. You should opt for this college. College has very good weather conditions, and there is nothing too bad around here. It is easy to get here, so you can consider coming.
Other: It's a very good experience, they pay to students who participate and win in the first place.. You can earn money by winning. Recently, I won Rs. 10,000 by participating in a fest.

An emerging 3rd-generation IIT with a good future.
Placements: Placements are average compared to other IITs. CSE placements are excellent, with almost all students securing good packages. However, lower branches face some challenges with placements, which is a concern for students. Placement cell is working efficiently to address these issues.
Infrastructure: Hostel provides good basic facilities with very few issues. Lecture halls are well-equipped with modern technologies. Vending machines for snacks are available at various locations. However, the lack of sports grounds is a concern, as there is no cricket ground at present. A new sports complex is currently under construction.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and the curriculum is manageable. However, the exam schedule is a bit tight, with class tests held before the midterm and end-semester exams. Calculus exams in the first semester are particularly challenging. Achieving an 8 CGPA in the first year is quite difficult.
