Good college, placements, infrastructure, labs, etc. but the faculty is not knowledge.
Placements: 20 students out of 140 have been placed till now and the placement process is still going on until May 2023. In automobile, the highest package is 9 lakh per annum and in software, the highest package is 25 Lacs per annum. Amazon, Rather, Nissan, Hyundai mobis, Royal Enfield, Eulermotors, Volvo, etc. are the top recruiters. Business analyst, Manager, Sales executive, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are well-equipped. But the thing is that faculty won't impart knowledge in the labs. Hostel facilities are good and the food is average. Hospital is available inside the campus. A big ground is available for sports and games. In SRM, canteen is very big. More than 20 shops are there in one place called Javagreen.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have studied in SRM itself. Teaching quality is average but the teachers are very helpful. Course curriculum is very good. In SRM, we can easily pass if we maintain good internal marks. We can easily pass without writing anything in the end semester exams. 50% marks are required to pass in the exams.

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: Our branch is divided into 2 sections, each section has around 55 to 60 students. Automobile department has around 42 students. The rest are in automobile core engineering. Honda and Hyundai are the major job offering companies. The minimum salary package is 4 to 5 LPA and the maximum salary package is 11 to 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has an immense number of facilities. It has a library of 4 to 5 floors with Wi-Fi facilities. It mainly has 3 buildings for engineering students. Rest are for law, art, and medical stream students. There are hostels with many facilities like Wi-Fi, TV rooms, study rooms, indoor games facilities, and more.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and provide the best guidance. They have extreme knowledge. College has labs for practicals which makes the students ready to work in industries.
Other: They conduct a lot of activities. MILAN is the greatest college festival in Chennai.

Good for potentially having a better future but highly self dependent.
Placements: 10% students placed. The placements for other courses have been very good but for the specific automobile course haven't been good. The companies did arrive but did not select any core batches. And comparatively the number of companies also decreased a lot.
Infrastructure: Hostel are comfortable with a good campus Life. There are various hangout places and a lot of grounds for sports. Nice food courts and very feasible. Do have a good mess structure and really big mess for a number of students. A number of hostels are also available.
Faculty: Teachers were highly skilled with proper teaching skills. The faculty members were really approachable with an intention of always helping the students and clearing their doubts at any time. Also the additional classrooms with extra classes were taken whenever necessary.

Good infrastructure and facilities with above average placements but no value for money.
Placements: The placements offered by SRM IST are good. They make sure that a lot of companies come for recruitment. Most of the students are placed in IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS etc. The average package for mass recruiters remains around 4 Lacs. One can expect a good package in core companies which can go as high as 20 Lacs but the number of placements is less.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for automobile course are excellent. They have their own hangar with sophisticated workshop equipments. The classrooms are equipped with AC and comfortable desks. The AC hostel is good however the non AC hostels are in average condition. There are 3 people sharing in a room. Quality of food is average as you would expect from any hostel but they do offer pickles and buttermilk which helps. SRM has its own hospital and there is no lack of medical facilities. There are basketball, volleyball courts and soccer grounds.
Faculty: The teachers are average. Very few of them take the pain to actually teach relevant topics. Most of them are worried about completing the curriculum. If you are really interested you can reach out to research guides who can help you with doing a research project which can be very beneficial to you. The curriculum is above average but you need to get more skills to get industry-ready. In short, there are opportunities available for those who want to work for it.

Placements: The college provides placement training for the students to get the job with a good salary. Some of the major companies like CEAT, Bridgestone, etc., visit our college for placements. The college also provides GRE and GATE training for the students who want to opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The campus is large with facilities like hostel, large playground, night food shops, a swimming pool, gym, etc. The college also provides an industrial tour abroad. The campus is the largest in Tamil Nadu.
Faculty: Teachers in our college have good knowledge about the subject. They guide students. They are friendly, and they encourage the students to reach good positions in life. They have a lot of experience in teaching and deep knowledge of the subject.

See, this mostly depends on the the guys having ranks better than you. Automobile cut-off was 55000 rank. Last year, if you were lucky enough, you might get it.
