SRM IST Founder’s Scholarship
This scholarship aims to encourage toppers in the qualifying examination or JEE exam to seek admission in the first year of BTech. It also encourages outstanding sports personalities to seek admission in Diploma/ UG/ PG programmes offered at SRM IST.
Candidates must have passed HSC or respective degree in regular mode in the first attempt in the current year of admission and meet the conditions provided in the table below:

Placements: Almost 90% of students from our batch got placed through campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Thereby, it is a very good placement record.
Placements: 75% of students are placed in my course. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, with an average package of 8 LPA. TCS, ACCENTURE, and HCL are some top recruiters. Data analysis, technical development, and some other IT jobs are offered. The internships provided are enough for students to improve their knowledge and practice their skills.
Placements: You do have companies visiting the campus for placements but they barely hire 2-3 students from a pool of over 4000 applicants. We had companies like PayPal, Dell, Barclays, jp Morgan, Philips and Siemens that came to recruit interns but they barely hired 5 interns out of which 50% were girls. It’s almost impossible to get past the initial resume screening, most people are rejected even before they write a test. Placements: Placement percentage can vary year by year and by program. Typically, top-tier engineering colleges like SRM have a good placement record, often around 70-90%. The highest and average packages can vary. Generally, high packages in engineering and science can go above 20 LPA.
Placements: The placements are average in my batch. Most of the people are getting around 6-8 LPA, and some lucky ones are getting up to 25 LPA (Operations Manager in Amazon), so yes, overall the placements are on the good side. Top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, TCS, etc. are coming to the campus.
Placements: A very few students were placed in my course due to lack of knowledge regarding the subjects, this is all because of the faculty. We have raised complaints against them but the management doesn't care about it. If any one is interested to join this college only for placements, it’s better to choose another course in this college because this course is not the correct one to choose for getting placed.
