The selection process for the BTech programme at BMS College of Engineering includes the following criteria:

1. Eligibility requires candidates to have completed Class 12 and PUC with a minimum aggregate of 50%, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and English as one of the languages.
2. The selection is based on two options: KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA along with KEA Counselling.
