My review on BMS College of Engineering.
Placements: The placement percentage in BMSCE has been consistently high, with an average of around 80%. The average package offered to students in BMSCE is around 6-8 lacs per annum. BMSCE includes Amazon, Dell, Hyundai, TCS, Cognizant, and many more. The placement cell in BMSCE is very active and has strong linkage with industry. The cell helps students in pursuing their career interests.
Infrastructure: The college campus spans over 15 acres of land, with modern buildings, well-laid roads, and playgrounds. BMSCE has four hostels: Main Hostel (Phase-1) for boys, Hostel Unit-I, Hostel Unit-III, and Hostel Unit-IV for girls. The mess arrangement is compulsory for all inmates, with a fixed menu for each month.
Faculty: The AIML department at BMSCE has supportive faculty members who are dedicated to providing quality education. Although the teaching quality is rated 6 out of 10, students can expect to receive guidance and notes from their professors. The faculty is also involved in research and has guided Ph.D. scholars from industries and academics.
Other: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are rapidly growing fields with immense job prospects, making them an attractive choice for students.

College campus is good and well maintained .
Placements: Placement was good before Covid, but after Covid, it is not giving any good placements. THere are 1500 CS department students, so there is not a chance to get good placements in BMSCE. According to me, a high CGPA gets good placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good and well-maintained, clean. Food is also good, and Wi-Fi is so slow in the hostel. And hostel worker behavior is also too good, and food is also good to eat daily, and they maintain cleanliness daily. So according to me, the hostel is good, and food is also good.
Faculty: Faculty is not that much good; they don't explain details about anything, so we need to learn it through an online platform. And faculty are average for some subjects, and the faculty behavior is good with all the students. And the work of the faculty is also good with all the students.

Honest review on BMSCE Bangalore.
Placements: Placement of BMSCE is good. They provide various opportunities for training, internship, and placement. The average placement is about 60 to 70 percent. If you have skills or knowledge, you can get high-paying jobs. The highest package is also good, around 40 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of BMSCE are good, labs are good, but there is so much rush in college. Hostels are good, but due to a huge strength and fewer hostels, the quality of food in the mess is not good, and also the waiting time in the mess is too much.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and supportive. The semester is not going so hard, and the pass percentage is about 80-90 percent. Faculty members are very supportive in every perspective. The course curriculum of the college provides various opportunities, but still, in some areas, it is not good.
Other: I chose this course because I don’t have any other option. The fest of BMSCE, i.e., Utsav, is average.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is the oldest private institution but still up to date.
Placements: Batches for core branches have full strength, and these branches are heavily crowded. Topics discussed may not be up to date, but the basics are correctly covered. In my branch, up to 97% of students are placed and top package for this year go to three students. The salary package offered is 33 LPA. Who is hired by Ansys company.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really good, but the hostel mess food can be better. Variety must be included with better taste. Library is very good. It has all kinds of books needed for course and environment is friendly for studies. Labs are also very helpful.
Faculty: Few faculty members are really above par and go beyond the syllabus to explain topics to students. Course is not up to the mark for industry standards, but I have heard plans where the department is willing to invite a few industry workers to conduct workshops so we get an idea.
Other: Utsav, being one of the best college fests across Karnataka, is a highlight in cultural activities.

Overall, college is decent in everything.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are ANSYS, DELL, and Fidelity. Our seniors receive the minimum salary packages that university graduates get but it is improving day by day.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college such as good food and many sports areas where we play cricket, football, and table tennis. Staff is also supportive. Food served every day is also tasty and wonderful.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. They help students to study so that they pass the examinations with ease. Pass percentage is 40%, which is the minimum in our college else it is considered a backlog. We have to write the fastrack exam which is a bit costly.
Other: Events in our college are wonderful and held every year, between March and May, but last time it was a bit less crowded than other times. I wish for better management.

Dissatisfied with placements and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement rate is 50%. They show fake stats on their website. We were told completely different statistics during induction. This year they have increased the intake significantly, placements are going to be worse than ever. Don't join this college for placements.
Infrastructure: New building for freshers, we don't even have projectors, the classroom looks a typical Allen classroom without AC and projectors. Good library and Wi-Fi. The college has sports events but the ground is extremely small, it's occupied most the times.
Faculty: Qualified teachers, they are knowledgeable and pretty good at teaching aswell. Course curriculum is okay, it's a affiliated to VTU (autonomous); most the syllabus is outdated. Don't join any VTU colleges. Semester exams are average, you can pass with a little preparation.
