There were good placements in 2019-2020 batch.
Placements: Nearly 70% of the students got placements from our course. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. The top role offered here was GET. Almost 100% of the students got internships. The top recruiting companies for our college are MG Motors, L&T Tech, L&T Power, Line, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course or department are very good in terms of Wi-Fi, lab equipment, laboratory facilities and classrooms with projectors. There is a separate seminar hall for the department and also a separate department library. Hostel facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality also very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready. There are some good things regarding faculty members that they teach very well and are highly qualified.
Other: I have chosen this college as it is a top-rated college in Gujarat. I wish that the syllabus should be revised. National level and one Asia level event are organised by students and faculty members. Scholarships are also provided by the university.

It is worth the money and is good in facilities, teaching and placements.
Placements: This university gives good placements in various big brand companies like ABB, L&T, Ceat, Torrent, etc. Last year, about 70% students were selected in placements. The highest package offered was up to 3.25 lacs/annum. There are some good placement officers who help you all the time through all the process of placements till the job letter.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is so pretty. It has great facilities for students. The whole campus has a Wi-Fi service and also has CCTV cameras in all classrooms and laboratories. The library and the canteen are OK. The sports and games section is not that much exclusive of this college.
Faculty: The faculty team of this college is so helpful and friendly. They are always ready to help any student. They use their best knowledge to teach. This college has an issue with its syllabus curriculum as it is still old and not updated. This college takes the students in the final year for the industrial visit in our batch and we have to go for 2-3 industrial visits.
Other: It is a good place to take admission and it is also a government college so the fee is too much less. The location is in the city area so all the needed things are available near the campus. All festivals and days are celebrated in this college. It has a big name in companies which helps students in their placements.

Prestigious university guarantees placements.
Placements: The MS University of Vadodara, being one of the most prestigious universities of Gujarat undoubtedly houses one of the best placements. A plethora of companies from MNC to Indian, offering great paychecks flock to MSU to grab the talented engineers. The salary structures and job profiles that are allotted to the seniors are considerably higher than what would be at the other colleges. So if your sole aim of the college is to get a job, MSU is the best bet, especially the core engineering branches like mechanical, electrical and civil.
Infrastructure: To be honest, this is a very sensitive area. Infrastructure-wise, MSU can be considered above average. Drinking water facilities, toilets, and canteen needs improvement. Whereas the laboratories house the equipments and machines which are extremely expensive, which even some IITs don't have. The campus is fully Wi-Fi accessible. The library is well-organized and the classrooms are comfortable.
Faculty: The faculty is, in general, pretty helpful especially if they get to know the student well. Most of the professors have a Ph.D. and so knowledge-wise, they are at the top of their respective fields. They have a lot of other works too, so it can be difficult to approach them always, so one needs to schedule a visit to the professor. The course and curriculum are not up to the par. The organisation and introduction of the topics are haywire. Most of the times, especially for electrical engineering, practicals are done in the lab even before the theory is taught in the class which leaves a big gap between the theoretical aspects and the practical fundamentals. Sometimes, attending lectures doesn't prove to be fruitful because, from the exam point of view, it is worthless. A lot of vague and enigmatic questions sometimes crush the will of the student. So be wary.
Other: My last remark is that if you want to be placed, choose MSU. However, as suggested above, you may not get the right skillset or develop an engineer's attitude. You will have freedom until the very end but it may soon become depressing upon getting the results, not to mention the strict checking scheme of the teachers. But all in all, it is entirely up to you.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure but the campus recruitment should be optimized.
Placements: The placements of my batch were approximately 55%. The highest salary offered was 5.5 LPA and the least was 1.8 LPA. To be an eligible candidate, one must score 60% or more, else you won't even get an opportunity even though you might have knowledge of the subject better than the one scoring better. Only the one who can do it on his own should apply as the courses are not completely taught due to some reasons. I would suggest going for GTU as the percentage obtained will allow you a pool of opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. Royalty at its best I must say. The structure is of the times of Maharaja of Baroda. The library, canteen, free Wi-Fi are the facilities to the students. Moreover, there are hostel accommodation provided for outsiders i.e. not from Vadodara. Most of the classrooms are now being equipped with a projector.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members were friendly natured and taught in their own ways. They were well qualified for their jobs. Some used a projector for their teaching while the rest preferred classrooms. The number of students was 62 and the faculty available was approximately 20-22. We had visits to power plants during the final year of our college times. The course curriculum in a way was helpful as they train you to adapt to the tough first perspective. Compared to GTU colleges, the courses offered were at a level higher than them.
